First Cycle for Combat Athlete

Hello all, I am a combat athlete, and I am looking for some advice about taking my first cycle. I already had my bloods taken and all that; everything was normal and fine, my overall test was in the mid-500s. I signed up with Trt Nation and will be receiving their hormones. Its going to be 200ml of test c a week, along with hcg, anastrozole, and syringes. So this is where I need some guidance.

Trt Nation does not do much else besides providing the gear. I’m 26, 5’10.5", and about 157lbs, with I’d guess around 10% bf. I would like to continue leaning down to the point where I can walk around at about 145lbs. I want to know how to stack these supplements to maximize their potential. I was thinking of cruising at a lower dose of like 160ml of test c a week split between two pins, I’d also take 250iu of hcg twice a week on the opposite days to stay fertile; and then I was hoping to just not take the anastrozole at all, thinking it wouldn’t be necessary at these dosages.

My main and only goal is to improve athletic performance across the board—endurance, strength, and all that. My gym has world champions in it, all of whom I assume are using, one of the champions was recently busted for Clomid. Everybody is doing this, and nobody is going to help a low-level guy such as myself, so that’s why I’m here. It does suck, but at the end of the day, I have dedicated a lot to this sport, and I want to give myself the best chance at success. This really is just making things fair.

If anybody has any advice, I’d greatly appreciate it. I just want to cruise right now and see how that effects me; maybe I’ll ramp it up in the future, but just test and hcg for now. Any advice on the stack, days to inject, trt nation or alternatives, and adding different hormones? Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!

What you are planning almost for sure will not make you go from low level to high level. The improvements you will get from being on 160 mg/wk of Test and starting with normal levels is not going to be large. TBH, even higher doses will likely only help you a little bit in regards to moving up the ladder.

What you are planning is a decent TRT protocol. I’d recommend if you plan on staying on that you start only with Test. Add the HCG later. But really think about if this is what you want to do. It is going to be a small boost in performance in exchange for a likely life time commitment to TRT. If you were very close to the top of the heap, it might make more sense.

I think it might be wise for you to actually plan what you are doing as a cycle instead of TRT. Obtain some Nolva for PCT. Run low doses (similar to what you plan for your TRT protocol, or a bit higher, perhaps 250 mg/wk) for something like 15 weeks and determine if the boost is worth it. If so, continue on, if not, do a PCT, and think about TRT down the road. You will likely see that TRT isn’t going to be a game changer for you in regards to MMA. I would also use the HCG from the beginning if are looking at it as a trial with the possibility of going off.

I understand what it is like to love a sport and want to do everything you can to be the best at it. For most of us, we have to realize we don’t have the special sauce (genetics) to be the best. If that is the case, PEDs for that sport likely don’t make sense.

No Free T measurement? No SHBG?

I’m not a fan of cookie cutter protocols. Most men on replacement doses of exogenous testosterone don’t need AI’s.

AI’s can really fu** you up if you are an over-responder.

HCG is the majority of cases, outside of fertility isn’t needed.

Also, 200 mg isn’t a cycle, a cycle is 500 mg per week.

Take a step back and rethink about what you’re doing. You don’t even have complete labs telling you anything about the free hormone status or E2 for that matter.

With a TT of 500ng they still gave you “TRT”. Unreal. They really will just give it out to anyone, huh? Wild

You got the wrong compounds for that, I’m afraid. Test at that low dose isn’t gonna do much for strength, esp when you were normal going into it. Now your’e just married to the needle. If you want endurance I’d look at EPO, stuff like that. Albuterol maybe.

What’s your free T and the lab range?

Your total T isn’t bad, but it’s generally a meaningless number. Free T is what matters.

You should do more research before doing this stuff. I don’t think what you’re doing is really going to be any significant performance enhancement based on your goals. And if you aren’t a good responder, you might mess yourself up hormonally for no real benefit. There’s no free lunch with roids.

On a side note, assuming your free T is generally normal and you show no low T symptoms (you didn’t mention any), there’s no medical reason for you to be prescribed T.

Places like you’re getting T from are going to make it so much harder to get T at some point for the people that really need it. The FDA is coming. It’s just a matter of time. Rant over lol.
