First Cycle Diet

And still no one has answered my question about the chic in the camo skirt??

Idiot? Science to back it up? Provide some scientific evidence in regards to tapering. Your “evidence” is anecdotal at best. Scientific backing, however, with androgen administration and hpta shutdown has. Your hpta is either shutdown or not.

If I am fucking idiot, then I guess William
Llewellyn, Bill Roberts, Anthony Roberts, and a slew of other professionals are as well. You should read up of them, they have written a couple of things…jerk off. A standard chemistry course and basic anatomy and physiology course can help steer your simple mind in the right direction. Take care.

And on the DC training. It has its merits for about six workouts to potentially tear a muscle or rupture a tendon but other than that, it is just a standard ripoff on Mike Mentzer, Author Jones, etc. Also, if you were going to perform this style of intense training, why do it when you are hormonally the weakest?

Matt
Well certainly just lost any potential credibiility you might have had when citing hooker as one of your sources.

I’ll tell you what’s funny is that I have completed well over 300 DC training sessions in my day with not a single injury or tweak.

I’ve also done it naturally, on gear, coming off, while finishing up physical therapy… no injuries. Oh yeah, and I have bloodwork done routinely and have never had any problems. Funny.

Book smarts aren’t everything. Since you’re such the mind on training and gear, you should know this.

As far as a ripoff on Mentzer and Jones…not at all. They simply trained like madmen. There was hardly any mind or method to their training, although I must say it worked pretty damned well for them. DC has a very strict protocol for a reason. I’m sure Dante wouldn’t mind answering some of your questions. He was more than willing to help me a few years back.

Matt those are some great points especially about the intense training on such a weak hormonal slide…
And since I started DC I have had my first ever weightlifting injury… The shoulder on the heavy upright rows, which you and I talked about.

On the other hand, something is leaning me out, and sucking water from my body. Again it could be diet, but I think those sets of 20 squats gotta hold some merit, but they in of themselves are not really DC… No rest pause.

Thoughts???
Well like I said rand, I’ve never run into any problems with it and it seems those that do are far and few between. It seems to be helping you out pretty well. As far as the upright rows go, perhaps try them with dumbbells and use a lighter weight than you otherwise would. Figure you have three exercises with which to punish your delts. I believe you’re doing military presses and some type of machined shoulder press. If the rows really seem to give you trouble, side lateral raises (seated or standing) would be a good substitute.

In terms of the 20 rep squats, you’ll notice you do a 20 repper on quads three times in one cycle. One high rep set coupled with something much much heavier and lower rep certainly does have its benefits. Sure, Dante didn’t invent this, but he does a damned good job of incorporating it into this training methodology.

World, yeah Squats, Leg Press, and Hack Squats all have 20’s in there.

It’s strange but the 20’s almost seem like more of a cardio workout, as I do squat relatively quickly, I don’t remember the power lifters name but I found him on you tube and that’s exactly how I squat, about 1 rep per 3 seconds.

As for shoulders Yes, we do Military Press, Hammer Strength Shoulder Press, and Currently uprights… I’ll try them with dumbells. Uprights sound like they grind bones!

Well, regarding the injury report, Randy just received one. Anyway, there are both sides to this debate, one side for PCT, the other for tapering, whatever. From my experience, going to absolute failure frequently, normally leads to injury. Since being on AAS strengthens your muscles faster than your ligaments and tendons, one would expect an increased risk for injury.

P.S. Randy you are coming off a cycle where you were taking a fucking gram of test a week. I would expect you to lose the weight equivalent to a small child in water fairly quickly, regardless of your training protocols.

P.S. “Randy you are coming off a cycle where you were taking a fucking gram of test a week. I would expect you to lose the weight equivalent to a small child in water fairly quickly, regardless of your training protocols.”

So as Cortes said, there will be no more Delta Burke sitting on my shoulders during cardio…?
That’s good, and I figured that to be the case too. Although all in all I didn’t feel like I was holding much water until I hit the Dbol then it was obvious.

And hell I am not complaining about the leaning up… Works great.
I am hitting the uptown gym location today, but I’m sure I will see you on Weds.

Thanks for your input and concerns here bro!

Ok for closure to this thread I need to know what people want to see???

I can simply do a few somewhat matching before and after shots or I would be happy to do a week by week front double bi for example.

The First week and last week are grossly different and I am stoked with the results.

I need to do some photoshopping to blank out my face before posting so I wanted to get your opinions on what you would most like to see for closure.

Thanks!

Any ideas, let’s kill this thread, it’s had a great run. What kind of pics do you want to see?

Ok, I will post a before and after then a front double Bi of each week 1 through 10.
Pics Coming Sunday night.

Oops…
Ok Here goes Pic #1 BEFORE

Pic # 2 AFTER

Let me know if anyone wants me to photobucket these so you can see larger pics…

Overall started at 213 and somewhere near 18-19% body fat

Finished at 232 and I am guessing 15-15% body fat

The after pic is at week 14 just ending stasis and starting taper down.

I think my lats nearly tripled in mass, my chest looks and feels very solid, arms gained a little fullness

Traps and shoulders made great improvements, and wheels really really gained some mass.

Critiques??

I always thought that you were in your avatar.

WOO HOO!!!

Somebody got huge.

Congratulations on a great job thus far man. How’s the training going?

Thanks bro I am stoked with the results, it’s going to suck being off for next few months ha! Tren/Test next go round.

My family hadn’t seen me for 5 months before this weekend, and they were all like DAMN! So even though I feel a little bigger, it’s great to hear unbiased opinions that solidify my gains.

Training is going great I had the weekend off for a funeral up in Indy. Start back again tomorrow.
Can you velieve I got 505 on Dead lift Thursday??
Felt freakin crazy. I then got over zealous and failed at 555 but hey 505 ain’t half bad for no wraps and no belt.

I onbly had 20 minutes to workout Thursday so I just went in for heavy deads and cardio. Very odd warm up I did 225X 8/405 X 3/505 X 1 then failed at 555.

Then did 10 mins of cardio… Figured it was better than nothing…

Awesome work brother.

We kept naggin’ you about hittin’ the arms but damn they really came up once you see the before and afters. Great work.

GS Thanks bro! Yeah those damn arms… they started out really small, so any increase was welcomed! I think they went from 15 and a scoach to 16+. Altough 17" was the goal.

I really appreciate all of your input here bro!

I was following your thread and I was looking at your before and after pics.

Well, tell your mom thank you! And thank you too!
That’s a cool mom that will give you her blessing to use AAS. Although I am almost certain my Mom cn figure it out too.
