Not necessarily. It depends on the speed of growth you want to see. I put on 40lbs of arguably almost all lean mass over the course of 5 years or so. I was around 8% and 170-175. Never got fat or added fat, but it took a LONG time.
You only want 10lbs though. Proper training and nutrition is all you need man.
You still haven’t broken down what types of foods you’re eating. That might be part of it.
Hey man, i just want to tell you some stuff you might not otherwise hear.
First, your testosterone and testicle size are not likely to ever return to normal after even one cycle. You may be able to fully recover from a good pct but after you come off pct you are likely going to be worse off than when you started.
Second, i would spend no less than 100 hours researching many many sources before you sick a needle in your ass. You’ll quickly find out that very few people actually know what they’re doing and it’s common to screw up your hormones for life in a way that requires medical intervention like trt forever.
Third, it is EXTREMELY unlikely that you’ll only do one cycle. Testosterone is fucking amazing and you’ll want to feel like Superman everyday, especially during pct which for many men can be one of the lowest points of their entire life. Depression is common coming off a test cycle.
Forth, get your blood work done at a trt clinic. You honestly might be better off just getting on trt forever if your levels are low. Then you could blast and cruise if you want extra gains (with added risk). Trt blast and cruise prevents the intense lows associated with pct.
That’s my advice but what do i know, I’m just a Derp.
You do exactly that. You lose like 4-5% Body Fat, then you’ll lean Bulk. This will add the 5 kg of muscle you’re searching for. No need for steroids. Im probably harsher than the other guys right now, but your body fat doesn’t put you in the eligible for steroids category at all. If you Bulk right now, you’ll gain more fat than if you first do a diet. So go for a diet. If you got chiseled abs, the start bulking. Should take you maximum 20 weeks to get there if done right. After that shoot for 2-3 pounds in weight gain per month.
Supposedly priest didn’t use gear until he was about 20 either… give me a break, unless he has a legitimate genetic mutation regarding myostatin regulation… he was probably on gear since… I don’t know… age fifteen
post workout shake: banana, blueberries, pbfit, almondmilk, protein scoop, greek yogurt
lately i’ve been meal prepping rice, chicken, veggies which is around 400-500 cal, i’ll alternate the protein.
I’ll be honest though, I haven’t been as strict as I should be and cheating with things like Cane’s happens once or twice a week so I think that screws me over.
Thanks! That’s what I’m thinking of doing, really don’t want to add excess fat. I appreciate the harsh bluntness, just want to do the right thing for my body whatever that may be.
It’s true man, the boys can start up and grow back but they’ll most likely never be like they were before cycling even once. Ask your doctor. Not everyone has the shrinkage issues short term and suppression can take longer for some than others but once the damage is done, it’s done. Recovery is slow and “normal” function may return but it’s not likely to be as much test, sperm, or size.
Zeek, obviously you’re convinced otherwise. What makes you so certain? Maybe there are outliers who fair better but it’s kinda like the argument “my aunt smoked and lived to 103 so cigarettes don’t damage your lungs that much.”
Also what was the first inaccurate thing?
Pre cycle labs my TT was 550ish before ever touching steroids. After two cycles, and few months after PCT of my last, my levels were 750ish and I felt great.
Definitely might not be the norm, but your information is not accurate.
There’s also most certainly a genetic component (amount/density of androgens receptors, response to gear, amount of CAG repeat units in AR, musclular/tendon insertions, bone structure etc)
I can almost guarantee if I was to take whatever Lee Priest took I wouldn’t look nearly as sick as he did.
However within the bell curve of normality… yes, higher doses makes the size… it’s unfortunate, but true
Of course work ethic/diet is pivotal to make the most of it. A dude who doesn’t train properly and eats like shit on 600mg test/wk will probably gain about as much as a guy on 300mg doing things optimally
My BP on dbol is 100/53… I appear to respond well (increased fullness, vascularity, strength and endurance) without any outwardly visible negative side effects. Though my BP was initially 95/38-45 (soooooo looooowwwwwww, look at that diastolic pressure, imagine how low it drops when I consume alcohol). Tis genetic though, wonder where higher doses would take me… guess we will never know as I see no reason to need to increase dosage
I assume on the elite level success is determined regarding how much drugs one can TOLERATE (acute and chronically). These bodybuilders are genetic freaks, specimens that can abuse themselves to no end without (apparent) repercussion… like Ozzy Osbourne. It’s one thing to have the genetics alone, it’s another to have genetics + ability to withstand shitloads of drug abuse
As to Lee Priest… he is still very large in relation to his muscularity, given he was in a car accident, suffers from chronic, debilitating neuropathic pain related to numerous pinched nerves from what I recall (and thus can’t train particularly hard), I wonder what he takes to maintain his current physique
I actually think the genetic component has the biggest effect at that level, because everyone is on a shit ton of stuff. The genetic makeup as unreal stated (androgen receptor density,…) has the most influence on how much is needed too.
