Just didn’t feel like kicking my ass today, so I went to some speed benching. It’s been awhile since Ive hit speed benches, felt good. Felt heavier than I remember. Pec’s were screaming after the bamboo sets. Got a pretty decent pump on all my work today. Did I just say that?? About 5 weeks out from contest. I’m starting to come to realize that I may not be breaking any records in the 181’s, I may just go for all personal bests regardless of weight and just hope for gold. It’s my first full power and I just don’t want to worry about cutting. We’ll reevaluate in a couple weeks. Need to start working on my diet.
