What are all the things you did to improve your pfs?
It’s been 11 yrs. That’s probably been the biggest factor. Thyroid medication may have helped a bit. I think the best I felt was the 2-3 weeks after I started testogel. Calling another clinic today because I think a higher t dose will make me feel better. Maybe another look at the thyroid.

Ok finally. Wheels in motion to new private dr. Had a pretty good consult. They (trubalance) do it all. If I go with cream, I think there’s would be consistent quality. Probably end up off synthroid and on their combo t4/t3. Real curious as to my full panel thyroid labs which I’ll finally have done.
My only concern is everything changing at once. Testogel to cream… synthroid to compound thyroid mix… and they may start me on hcg as well.
I’m thinking of waiting and hoping maybe I don’t need hcg. What think you? I believe they do tests every 3 months with the follow ups. Maybe wait until then?
Can’t wait to get the comprehensive labs and post em. Think I’m 5 days from getting the requisition.
I’m kinda stoked. No more pulling teeth for a test or to get test.
I would hold off for a bit on the HCG, try it later after the thryoid/T switch

Just got the forms and clinic name. SKR Health. She’s a nurse practitioner. Quite the laundry list of what’s available from the usual to preg, prog, dhea and not sure who or what it’s for but hgh.
What are your thyroid values
Aren’t they in range
Only know tsh. It was around 3.6 before I got on synthroid, then 2.6 or so. I don’t know any other values, but, I’m dying to find out.

Convinced my doc to switch from testogel to test cyp beginning of April or so… but, he wouldn’t budge on increasing from 50mg per month. I went back to testogel thinking not having anything for 29 days was worse.
So, we’ll see what this new one suggests. I like the idea of daily test and I’m low serum dht for what that’s worth… the cream supposedly increases dht more than injection.
Ok I thought about it. I’ll say I want injections. I’ll give that several months and then go to cream as a last resort. Can’t beat the track record and availability of injection test.
Sounds like no matter what form I get, it’s all made at the same ‘state of the art’ pharmacy. Something like test cyp… is that compounded by each pharmacy?

Noper. Even the pharmacist said it was every week when he was explaining it. Then I get home, read the label and see it’s a month. Follow up call a week later and he says yes a month. Won’t budge. Thanks for coming out. That should cure my pfs. lol
Moronic. Geez. That will do more harm than good. He probably has the perspective that it supplements your natural production as long as he keeps the dose low or something else equally as stupid.

I got my new Doc, as in a Nurse Practitioner. Forms sent in. She’s sending bloodwork forms and when she gets em, I get an appointment. I can’t wait.

Darn. Of course after I do the blood test this morning I remember to check this list. I don’t know if it would have mattered if she could have added more… every line on requisition was filled with a test. Or she may not of agreed, who knows.
Her list missed cmp, fsh, lh, igf and surprisingly SHBG.
She had added on zinc, b12, ferritin, alt, alk p, hba1c, creatinine.
Either way, by far the most expansive blood work I’ve had done.
Gotta redo it in my opinion. That shbg is very important

Probably get my consult in a week. I’ll bring it up then. Hopefully she’ll send the lab test and I could get the number before the new prescription.
