I took finasteride for alopecia in 2017. Surprisingly the next day there was a galactorrhea and I felt side effects. galactorrhea lasted for only a week. However, the side effects continued and continue two years after the drug was discontinued. The question I’m curious is: Is this the effect of progesterone and prolactin? A while ago I checked my hormones and they all showed normal. I suspected hyperprolactinemia but not.
I have erectile dysfunction and no sexual desire. There is no orgasm.
It is consistent with the symptoms of hyperprolactinemia. But my prolactin is normal. Can you give me some advice?
