Fighting Parking Tickets or Ordinance Citation

In situations like these where “the system” screws you, I fall back on the ten-fold rule. The ten-fold rule is not a rule that you learn in school, it’s something I kinda figured out on my own. It goes something like this:

If some stupid, chickenshit, ridiculous, arbitrary “rule” (whether public entity or private entity) costs me money, and it will cost me more time than is worth to fight it, I will pay the fine. I will then “extract” TEN TIMES the amount I payed out of said organization. I won’t steal it, I’ll just force them to pay it somehow, some way. Be that by vandalism, frivolous lawsuit, pulling a fire alarm, setting off a stink bomb in the store, or any number of creative ways that I estimate will cost about ten times what their bullshit, chickenshit “rule” (that I didn’t vote for and obviously wasn’t properly disclosed, or else I wouldn’t have violated it) cost me.

Now let me be clear: this isn’t for things like speeding tickets - I know the fucking speed limit and if I choose to break it I man up and pay. But $190 for overstaying 15 fucking minutes? That’s fucking chickenshit in ANYONE’S book. After I paid that fine, I’d be taking about two grand out of their ass. I especially like fucking the government. Let me know if you want help brainstorming a way to fuck them.

Yes, I know that some of the means of “retaliation” are against the law. Misdemeanors at most, though. I’m already a felon, so it’s not like a fucking misdemeanor is gonna fuck me up or anything! LOL But like most things, if you’re careful, you’ll get away with it. What’s BEST, and rare, but the ULTIMATE goal, is to fuck them LEGALLY and cost them as much as you can and have them KNOW it was you that fucked them. Then they get to think to themselves, “well I guess I shouldn’t have fucked with THAT guy”. That’s right, mutherfucker, you shouldn’t have.

Now some of you here will probably cry foul. You’ll say I’m immature, a criminal, a sociopath, think I’m better than everybody else, that my actions in some way drive up the price of goods and services or taxes, blah blah blah. Well that’s all probably true - I don’t give a fuck. That’s how I’ve rolled for about three decades now and it works for me. Let me tell you, the satisfaction is worth it. I sleep VERY well at night knowing that the person/organization that fucked me got fucked ten times more than I did. It helps keep my sanity. It’s karmically correct! It keeps my little brain from having too many homicidal thoughts. I tell you, without the ten-fold rule, I’d have snapped a long time ago and shot up a dentist office or something (not the patients, don’t worry LOL).

Your system works for you, eh? Is that why you’re a convicted felon?

The ten-fold rule is hardly “karmically correct”. Maybe if you exacted an equal value’s worth of revenge in response to an unjust law it would be. Your particular brand of justice doesn’t cost institutions like the park system or whatever any money at all and therefore your revenge is misguided at best. Whatever cost increase your actions result in are just transferred to the innocent taxpayer who has no part in your actions or the policies that provoked them.

Just because it makes you sleep better at night or keeps you from flipping out and going postal doesn’t make it “karmically correct” at all. If anything, you’ve seriously tilted the karmic scales out of your favor. If the entire world revolved around you and only you, maybe you would have a point. But it doesn’t, so you don’t.

The reality is that we have all these laws and fines and sets of asinine rules to protect ourselves from people like you who cannot cope with the realities of the world in which we live in a way that doesn’t transfer your warped brand of “justice” onto the innocent. The next time I (or anyone else, for that matter) pay an exorbitant fine for some ridiculously minor transgression maybe I should exact ten-fold revenge on you instead.

Whatever. Most of the population are sheeple like you that just shut up and pay whatever they’re told to. You pay fines you didn’t vote for, for chickenshit citations that are nothing more than ways for the government to fuck you out of more money than they already do. It amounts to double taxation, plain and simple.
Your system works for you, eh? Is that why you’re a convicted felon?
No, I’m a convicted felon because twenty years ago I entered a business with a shotgun and robbed them for ten thousand dollars and got caught leaving the scene in a high speed chase - couldn’t out run the radio.

The “innocent” tax payer evidently condones the parks chicken shit regulations. Otherwise someone would have done something about it by now. So in reality, there is no “innocent” tax payer. There are simply tax payers. Tax payers who willingly take part in the system.
I don’t think the world revolves around me at all. But I DO have a firm boundary. I don’t lay down while someone fucks me. I don’t give a shit if it’s the government or not. If you stab me with a knife, I’ll kneecap you with a bat; If you hit me with a bat, I’ll bring out my gun; if you shoot me with a gun, I’ll start pruning your fucking family tree - it’s not that complicated. Now keep in mind, I do EVERYTHING within my power to do what I’m supposed to do as a good little “citizen” (even though as a felon I really don’t have any rights anymore). I only invoke the Ten-fold rule when the system FUCKS me. If I knowingly break the law, I’ll man up and face the consequences - I’ve DONE that already and I didn’t snitch on anyone for a deal. I did my time and worked the system as best I could. But when someone wants to take walk out in nature, and they end up getting FUCKED for $190 over 15 minutes, I call BULL SHIT.
Society hardly needs to fine someone $190 at a park to protect them from little old me, I assure you. I am the most civilized person you’ll ever meet. I will make reasonable efforts to DE-escalate conflict. I avoid slippery people, places and situations. But sometimes that just isn’t enough. I don’t apologize for who I am. I would honestly be FAR more comfortable living 500 years ago and having the option of swinging a battle axe into somebody’s face, but I digress… My point is that the ETHOS that I live by can make me seem to be a bit of an asshole when provoked. I really don’t care who you are or what entity you represent. If you push me past a certain limit and fuck with my time, my person, my property or someone that I care about, I WILL break a dick off in your ass.

The first decision YOU have to make is who deserves the fucking? Also, I believe you said you were a student and could therefore fight it in court without loss of pay. If a judge feels that $190 for 15 minutes is “fair”, then I think you’ll have your answer.

A lot of this bullshit falls under revenue generation. Like the speed trap where I see cops all the time at 5:30 in the morning when no one else is on the road, but there is never a cop there when there is an actual reason to control the speed limit. And before some numbnuts says it is because of school buses this is a crowded commercial area and none of the business’s are open so no need for a reduced limit.
Revenue generation over stupid nanny-state infractions is pure bullshit. And every year, the ones we elect to “serve” us, pass more laws and ordinances to SCREW us. It’s one of the root causes of the decline of, and what I believe to be the eventual destruction of, our great nation.

Yeah. And if he’s lucky it just goes into collections after about six months or so and then the fine blows up to such a huge amount that the only recourse the guy has if he abides by the ten-fold rule is to blow up a federal building.
You just can’t stay away from that straw man argument, can you?

Since I am well versed in social psychology at the moment, for whatever reasons, authority is actually an interesting construct.

An authority not just simply is, it is made by the consent of those who follow its orders.

All that you have to do to turn an authority into a mere bully is to simply not recognize that its orders are legitimate.

Making fun of self proclaimed authorities is a powerful tool, to undermine them economically by being more trouble than it is worth pursuing the issue is too.

Seen that way, AC is downright subversive and highly effective if he follows through.

They are nothing without your consent, he withdraws it.

Slander and Libel.

A few ideas:

-Start spreading malicious gossip about the reservoir to its reservoir friends…

-Write a scandalous expose on the reservoir, under a pen name, to Reservoir Magazine and other reservoir-related publications. Accuse it of behaving in an unreservoiric manner. Tarnish the shit out of its reservoir reputation…

-Entice the reservoir to get a hand-job from a transsexual. Film it. Post it. Everywhere.

Slander and libel aren’t legal though.
I think item number three would be ok - mean if OP FILMED the reservoir getting a hand job from a tranny, then it would be slander or libel.

Fuck. That. Shit.

Right back atcha! I ALMOST sent you a card yesterday proclaiming my man crush - you’ve really been holding down the fort with the “advice column” lately. Much obliged!

Yeah, yeah, blow me.

You see, this is perfect example of a lack of civility. Now we all KNOW that skinny little mutherfucker would NEVER walk up to me say that to my face and walk out of that room in the same condition he walked in. Yet because it’s the internet, and he’s in Texas and I’m in Virginia, he feels like he’s got some big balls or something. People like you should stay away from people like me, bad things could happen.
This entire post made me laugh.

Why? It’s not like I offered to pay for his plane ticket to meet me to engage in fisticuffs or anything. I looked at his avatar, see a skinny dude who weighs a buck seventy at most acting like a pompous ass. I observed he probably wouldn’t say that to my face as I’ve got him by 50+ pounds and have had occasion to use it once or twice. He wouldn’t say SHIT like that in real life, and THAT’S a FACT, JACK.

Now if YOU, “Mistah Greg Ron”, being an ex navy SEAL and all, well now if YOU were to fuck with me, I just might pee in my quivering little baby pants. I’d most certainly bend over and graciously allow you to have your sweet way with me, ya handsome guy, you. (I miss the mustache)

The smiley face means that I’m playing and there’s no hard feelings, right?

If this is a serious question, then you’re really fucked in the head. You don’t even know who you’re mad at, or who you feel you need to get even with. You would really consider doing something to ‘fuck the reservoir’? The same one you felt was worth spending nearly 3 hours hiking? Wow. And as for wanting to ‘legally fuck the cop’, good luck with that. Enjoy your miserable existence that will inevitably lead to frustration and very likely long-term incarceration.

This was indeed a joke… lol
