Fighting Love Handles with Receptormax?

It sounds like you just need to eat less calories, while keeping enough protein in your diet so you don’t die.

I used to be a vegetarian and I know I was protein deprived for years on end. My breast size increased, my entire body shaped changed…come people thought I looked better back then, but I feel much better now that I eat a lot of animal proteins and fats. It’s very easy for me to change my waist line now just by reducing carbs (and not even a lot…just not eating any with dinner) to the point that I can see abs within two weeks if I want (I’m a woman who lifts for altheticism, not shape, and doesn’t do much to control diet so that’s pretty awesome to me).

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned yet in this thread is the effects of a vegetarian/esp vegan diet on naturally stored creatine levels. In studies, it was discovered that even just reducing the amount of fish and red meat in the diet drastically decreased creatine levels. If that’s the case, imagine now low a person’s levels are after eating a vegan diet for an extended period of time. I strongly suggest that if you plan on continuing with a diet containing less animals products than many on here, you start supplmenting with creatine. I noticed a very drastic change in how all weights felt within a short period of time (as in days) after starting my first cycle.

SERIOUSLY?! this has got to be a joke…

you blame oatmeal, rice and potatoes for making you fat?

not the fact that 80% of your total calories come from carbs (not to mention that fructose is more likely to stored as fat than glucose)?

isnt it widely known that such low fat consumption will have a negative effect on hormone levels?

protein being expensive is no excuse… EGGS. chicken breast for 1.99 a lb is pretty common. bulk whey concentrate can easily be found for < 50 cents per scoop

yep…i call troll

update
Ok i’ve been rocking the paleo diet full force since my last post last week. I’ve completely eliminated grains, dairy and ALL fruit. The only carbs i’m getting come from veggies. I also stopped with the sunwarrior protein. On average I’m eating about 200grams of protein, sometimes more if I can afford the extra meat, chicken or eggs for the day. I’m hovering around 2000-2300 calories a day. I haven’t had any issues digesting the stuff, i starting taking some now super enzymes just in case while transitioning to all this protein. I’m also mega-dosing on fish oil as prescribed on paloquin article.

Things i’ve noticed:
In my abdomen area things are flattening down quite a bit.
I’m defiantly pinching less fat in my belly.
In the mirror I look the same but being familiar and playing with my fat I know things are shrinking.
Clothes still fit the same though, no biggie.
I don’t feel sluggish all the time now.
My facial skin is looking pretty smooth.

There’s only one issue i’m having but its to be expected. This workout i’m doing Lose The Fat, Keep The Strength is quite lengthy, it takes about an hour and half to complete. When i get to around the 45-50 minute mark I gas out and don’t want to work out. So i’ve been juggling and splitting the workout out trying to figure something out.

Still working on getting to bed early. Problem i’m having now is that when I get up in the middle of the night to piss it takes about 2 hours to fall back asleep. Never had this problem.

In conclusion so far so good and it should be interesting to see what a months time on this way of eating will bring.
Oh yea, red meat kicks ass! That stuff is like caveman crack.
