Points well made, particularly the rotation of the pictures!! Thanks for your tips!
The Tan will come, I’ve still got 3 weeks!!
Re: the Traps!
I feel that I’ve got over powering traps, so i generally neglect to train them, I’m worried of the No Neck type look.
And I fail to see the benefit to anyone in posting a fake picture…
How can getting a high score on someone else’s physique cause anyone to feel good about themselves??
I’ll post comp day photo’s in 3 weeks time, I’m REALLY interested in seeing what 3 more weeks of diet, a tan, and the water loading/removing can achieve!!
(in fact I’ll probably post two weeks and one week out’s as well! I nicked mums camera!!)
I’m just glad to be in the Iron Game, changed my life, and I refer TONS of people who come into the Supplement Shop I manage to this site, it’s Choca’s with Great info!!
Peace out!
I also agree with you on the not training your traps preference. My traps tie in the same way your’s do, which I also think tends to give off a bit of an “overpowering” look. Now if I could just build my delts up to the same size as yours…
I’m curious, what are the girth measurements of your arms, chest, and waist? Also, would you happen to know what your shoulder breadth (width) is?
7.1 so far. typically, on a grading type scale, if it was out of a 100%, you’d get a 71%. This means that in school grading terms, you’d either be average or below average. Sounds about right around here…once again, come back in 20 years and show us a physique worth showing off.

Good luck on your comp.
Waist 37 inches
Chest 47 inches
Arms relxaxded 16 flexed 18
Sholders 22inches across
(these are as close as I could get while doing it myself…)

I tend to rate these types of things on a log scale… In other words, it is X times harder to get a 10 than to get a 9, which is X times harder to get than an 8, etc…

In that light, a 7.1 is pretty damned good.
If log(rating)=n, then X=10.
Calculus aside, you look like you need to deadlift. Your erectors as well as traps could do with work.

Who is that in your avatar?
Dunno, just google searched cartoon bodybuilders and that was one of the pictures that came up.
I think its a actual photo that’s been “enhanced” and he sort of looks like on of the pro’s to me, but the name escapes me…
Your waist is 37 inches?! Looks way smaller than that! That’s only a 10 inch difference between your chest/back. I’m giving you an 8. Great physique, keep it up. Looks to me you could use some more in the upper chest region & calves. Good luck!

Ok, Checked again, waists about 35 inches.
CALVES?!?! that’s the last thing I’d ever expect to have heard!!!
Upper chest you and me both think I need, Calves are the thing most people say I’ve got in the bag!!

Yeah, that 37 inch waist measurement seemed a bit off.
Also, I still agree with your preference to not train your traps. Training them would make your shoulders look less broad, which I think is one of the biggest attributes of your physique.
Again, good luck on the comp. Post some pics of the show if you happen to take any.
Heads up lads and ladies,
Your Now Talking to a MR Novice Victoria 2007.
I’ll post photos as soon as I get some from my lazy fam and freinds, I even have a video of my routine I’ll post…
Two weeks and I’m doing it again, I’m flying from the southern states of Australia up to the northern state of Queensland to enter the Southern Hempisphere Comp.
The enxt step being the Worlds but I’m not going to Germany just for that!
“They” (being the experieenced guys who saw me on teh day) reckon with a slight mod to my pre-comp diet I’ll go from pretty impressive to freaky, so here’s hoping!
I’m looking forward to trying to peak again!
