So I was prescribed 100mg/wk Test C by my doctor. Wife and I wanted to try and have a kid, so I started incorporating 1500iu Hcg weekly, but still no luck with pregnancy. Saw a new urologist and he told me to get off everything and prescribed me arimidex 1mg EOD. Just doesn’t seem right to me to just cut me off everything. I was thinking he would at least put me back on clomid, but no. What do you experts think?
How long have you been taking HCG for and do you have a sperm count?
For about 5 months. Just did sperm count test on Friday, but no results yet. He took me off everything prior to the test.
That’s not standard procedure, normally clomid is the go to choice for fertility. HCG and FSH are other options.
As for AI for fertility, fire you doctor without delay! This will ensure that your estrogen reaches undetectable levels and does nothing for fertility.
I would have been more satisfied had your doctor simply told you to stop everything.
