Well so who would be the most powerful? Would it be Superman, Dark Phoenix, Galacticus or someone else?

Most Powerful Ever:

Silver Surfer
Thor
Odin Force Thor (The Current One)
Superman(It depends on which version. Some versions of Superman are weaker than Colossus)
Galactus
The Celestials
Savage Hulk (any hulk except Gray Hulk or Bruce Banner Controlled Hulk. So guys like Future Imperfect Hulk or World War Hulk)
FireStorm(DC comics)
Green Lantern( Seriously, these guys can fuck shit up)
Thanos
Any one who owns the Infinity Gaunlets
X-man
Cable
Odin(Thor’s dad)
Wolverine( Out of sheer popularity, he could survive the end world. Your welcome, Wolverine fans)
Dark Phoenix
Gladiator(I think he was made to mock Superman. He stands like Super man and his real name is Clark Kent or Kal El)
Red Hulk

There’s a few more, but this is just off the top of my head.

how is Silver Surfer in there? he is a servant and his powers are from Galactus…

and Thor? come on…

where is Lady Death then? or what about Starfire?
I love you.

And World War Hulk is the Word of God strongest iteration of the Banner gamma creature. So he definitely needs to be on the list.

As for Lady Death, didn’t she have problems with that red lesbian devil chick?

if we’re not limiting it to DC characters, then i think Galactus, Living Tribunal, and One-Above-All are up at the top.

Galactus is on Darkseid’s level; Superman would destroy.
Darkseid’s more like Thanos. Galactus could own anyone non-cosmic, including Superman. Simplest win - encase Supes in a solar radiation absorbing bubble.

LT wouldn’t even need to acknowledge Superman’s existence. Superman has no powers that could even affect LT.

I love you too, snookums. Read the part where I mentioned the Hulk and in paranthesis I mention Future Imperfect Hulk and World War Hulk.

Was her name Purgatori? I’m gonna assume your post was for OG.

I promise you that they’ll give Superman a new power in order for him to beat Living Tribunal.

Sorry WB, I don’t think I’m cool enough for MMF action.

W/R/T Supes vs Tribunal, five years ago I’d’ve agreed. BUT, with the recent Jim Lee run, then the Grant Morrison Crisis stuff, Superman would be a living god on par with the more removed entities, with all “walls” broken in his psyche. He’s technically the lynchpin than holds all the DC Earths together.

And yes, Purgatori is the wench. Damn, I miss Chaos Comics.

Ok, if he’s the lynchpin of the DC Universe, what the hell if you and I went to Krypton(what’s left of it). We get a taste of their Red Sun, we come back to Earth and now we’re the lynchpin of DC.

I mean there was a planet full of Supermen. I wish DC would follow Marvel and give a set list of the DC character’s abilities

And if he is a God now, why the fuck does he fight people like Toyman?

Well, he’s not a god, he’s just . . . important. He’s the single-leg work of the DCU.

On DCs site, there’s the stories [secret origins?] that tend to list first appearance, powers, etc.

Well, that’s better than nothing. Its not as concrete as Marvel when they describe powers.

I guess the thread is over. I don’t feel like knocking Superman, anymore. See you in the Geek thread, Vash.

Fuck that, I’ll see you when I’m Captain Commando-tapping your ass on XBL in a day or two.

Two words: Omega Destroyer

Omega Red, Guile, and someone I can spam long range attacks with…hmm… like Cable. Hell, all I need is Omega Red. I’ll take your life energy and then I’ll take your Super Bar, smash you to the ground, rinse and repeat. You’re not safe on the ground or the air.

Maybe if OG shows up she can revive the thread. That tends to happen.

Oh…Shit! I’m still waiting to open a case of whupass on you and Vash. The challenge has been thrown down yet no reply… I’m tempted to call you… yellow bellied.

We need some more sword and sorcery to break up this superhero shit. This one actually involves females!!!

My xbox has been in repair. I played too awesome.

Here’s one for I am Hungry.

Thor versus Conan! a classic What If. I liked those. A little hazy, I should have taken it out of the bag.

Thanos beat virtually everyone including Living Tribunal. Odin is a God but has been beaten by the Celestials. Also Dr. Strange at one point was, but they have written him off as a big pussy lately.

Thor is a god, but he isn’t unless he taps his walking stick. Then he is trapped in the body of a cripple.

Odin trapped Thor in Donald blake’s body to teach him humility. Thor has been seperate from Blake for probably 10-20 years in real time.

Thor is a God, but he isn’t a spoiled one. He’s fought wars, went on journeys, won and lost battles, all without Mjornir(His hammer). He didn’t receive the Hammer until early adult hood.
There was a “What If” where the nurse found Mjöllnir and she became Thora. But it was a “What If” so I see what you are saying.

Was there actually a fight between those two? Or was it a punch-punch, let’s team up thing?

They fought then of course they become allies against a greater evil

and Thor dies and Conan has to return the hammer to Asgaard

Excellent. Hammer > Sword!

The hammer, of course, is my
