Bloods taken 10 days before period. Fasted
Should test be that low? Also no idea why they wouldn’t test for e2.

Test is less concerning than TSH, but yeah she’s on the low end of the T spectrum.
My wife began TRT with test levels in that range, she enjoys it. Good way to make sure your bedframe gets tested regularly in a marriage, but you have to make sure she’s not taking too much.
Estrogens should have been tested… ridiculous that they weren’t.
Women’s testosterone is highest during the middle of the cycle (ovulation) and lowest during menstruation. 10 days before her period means you’re definitely not at the highest levels but I would say her levels are generally low.
Edit: see below

She was prescribed synthroid after these but was told everything else looked perfect.
I honestly hope her sex drive doesn’t get any higher. Idk what I’d do, already at max capacity.
Yea o thought them not testing it was bad as well.
Your wife is using defy right?
Seriously… I hate you. ![]()
I certainly wouldn’t suggest having her take testosterone then.
We’re both using Defy. She started with some other provider but liked Mike and is still using him. She also started with IM Test E, then wanted to try Test P. She prefers P. Both at E3.5D.
^Had to reduce dose from 10mg/wk Test E to 8mg/wk Test P. Math checks out on dose response too.
@blshaw Have you/your wife tried out the oral oxytocin from Defy (or wherever you’re at)? That is, umm, the way to go for sex drive. Didn’t do much for me, but the wife wouldn’t leave me alone for like 2 days at half-strength dose.
No sir. My wife is not a patient at Defy. She’s not interested in HRT but does have hormonal problems. She’s a minimalist and prefers meds only when needed. She takes good care of me in the bedroom, but her libido is poor. I just wish she’d enjoy it a little more LOL.
FWIW, Oxytocin “the love hormone” is naturally produced, and this version is the ‘natural’ version of Viagra. Sounds like you’ve got everything covered, but it’s a very inexpensive drug and you’re probably able to have it ordered yourself if either/both of you are ever interested in running a trial. Does not need to be taken daily.
Anyways, sorry for derailing the thread a bit.
How/where do You get this?
Defy has it. Check Empower Pharmacy for all their goodies.
Would not recommend if your woman is already wearing you out lol.
Women age faster when hormones are low. My sisters lost motivation after menopause, in life and relationships. In other words, they stopped caring about themselves.
This is what happens when hormones drop, they stop caring about stuff they used to be passionate about. This is natures design.
I’m thinking for me ![]()
What would be a good starting dose for the injectable peptide form of Oxytocin?
The missus might be interested ![]()
?
I’m talking about a literal tablet of oxytocin; 40mg max dose, dissolved under the tongue. Not sure i agree with the idea of injecting any oxytocin-inducing peptides… didn’t even know they exist.
We cant get it in tablet form in the UK, only off piste ‘research’ peptide
I understand.
I’d have a go at getting regular viagra before going the peptide route. My understanding is that viagra tells the body to produce oxytocin, whereas the oxytocin tablets are simply oxytocin you’re getting into your bloodstream.
Ok, Viagra works for me but was thinking more for the good lady on this one. I will try it 1st though, make sure its safe for her ![]()
There are some things out on the line showing viagra and cialis are effective for women. Same way as for men… extra blood down there to the promise land. Sometimes just the that can get them in the mood more and have it work mo betta.
First I’ve heard about viagra raising oxytocin levels though
You made me want to double-check if I am right about this, so I’m posting what I found.
Viagra, made by Pfizer Inc., is an inhibitor of an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5. Related drugs such as Eli Lilly and Co.’s Cialis, known generically as tadalafil, and Levitra or vardenafil, sold by GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer AG and Schering-Plough, are also PDE-5 inhibitors.
They block this enzyme, which in turn breaks down other compounds. This increases blood flow in the muscles but it also affects a brain structure known as the posterior pituitary.
This, in turn, boosts oxytocin, at least in the rats. It probably does the same thing in people, Jackson said.
So boosting Oxytocin levels isn’t its primary purpose, but it seems to do so as a pretty awesome side-effect. Anyways, thanks for keeping me honest.
Doesnt have that effect on me sadly, just gives me a headache ![]()
