I think late-40s are awesome. Don’t you?
A question about your 531 training: Are you just trying to hit the requisite numbers and not rep out on the money set?

this is a great question, Snapper!
I have not been trying to hit max reps on the money set until recently - it has taken my body a little time to adjust to hitting maxes on all 4 muscle groups at the same time, and I was holding back on hitting them too hard to avoid injury at my advanced age~
but now, I have been working towards the pushing for more reps on the last set as is outlined in the book.
feeling good about it too~
now, your first question bout late 40’s being awesome? meh - some things are better, as in I dont have to work around the kids schedules anymore since they have grown up and moved away - but you never know what may be hurting you when you wake up in the morning, ya’know?
btw - squats tomorrow - the cold weather in the am really affects the joints, so I need to take extra time in warmup so as not to get injured - (this I was telling to myself)
