This is going to be a quarterly thing, correct?[/quote]
The original idea was just twice a year, August and February (as in end of summer/end of winter).
There was talk/suggestions about having a new thread every 3 months, since some people plan 12-week training cycles, but I think having it too often will A - make it harder to consistently see significant progress for more experienced folks and B - risk becoming “just another thread” instead of something folks consider being a part of. I think it’d almost work better if people nearly “forgot” about it by the time each new thread rolls around.
Anyhow, carry on y’all.
Push, I’ve heard of wearing your heart on your sleeve, but that’s ridiculous.

I do that all the time. Its good to own your equipment isn’t it? …just not good when you deadlift, bar catches things and its painful

Is it raw if you have sleeves on?

Good question. And would you wear a condom in an equipped meet?

Looks pretty raw to me…
Really love this thread.
I’m working on pullups. Couldn’t do one pronated until last fall. Hope to have ten with better form by the next check-in. I’m slow on the progress.
BTW, I’m 47 and have a repaired shoulder (five anchors).

Well that’s like cheating isn’t it? I mean you’re practically Robocop. How am I supposed to compete against people with cybernetic limbs?

I was practically cheering aloud by the last one. Yay, good job!
A few solid lifts of mine from the last few months. The DL is the oldest, it was from around Thanksgiving and matched an old PR while weighing nearly 20lbs less; the squat is a PR triple from Dec. I believe; and the broad jump is a distance I’ve hit a bunch of times, this one was from early Jan. Currently, I weigh 152lbs and am considering competing in PL in the 148’s.

Hell yeah, this is awesome. Just took these today. 6’3" ~185

LOL!
I understand the toilet replaces the box, so upon descent, your junk drops into the bowl and saves you from sitting on your nuts (which I have done in the past).

Please don’t do that. Seriously, please don’t.
