Yeah, that was convenient info to leave out. You must have been in a rush before.

Basically it comes down to you either think that the FDA is totally on your side and is out investigating the hell out of all of these things and there is no industry manipulation of its members OR that like many government institutions, the effects of industry lobbying have slowed, delayed, stalled or outright ended significant testing on certain chemicals and additives.
Here is a snippet from the other point of view on heating plastics. “Experts also contradict the claim that using plastics in microwaves can cause dioxins to leech into the food. According to Edward Machuga, Ph.D, of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), “The FDA has seen no evidence that plastic containers or films contain dioxins and knows of no reason why they would”. The general consensus is that using plastic containers or plastic wrap in microwaves is not dangerous, so long as microwave safe plastics are used and manufacturers guidelines are followed. The FDA article does admit that substances in plastics can leach into food. However, the FDA does not consider this to be a significant risk to humans.”
Notice they don’t say we have done exhaustive studies to disprove the danger just that they don’t consider it to be a significant risk.
Once again. No the sky isn’t falling, you won’t get a filling or eat a can of tuna and die tomorrow so please cut the BS red herring arguments. It’s about quality of life and attempting to safeguard your children or family from an unnecessary risk or danger.
Although I don’t agree with all of her positions on her site, this article is a good summary of the flaws inherent in the FDA approval process and how much BS it takes for something harmful to be recognized and treated as such.
Yeah thanks for taking this humoristically ; I had tought about writting it, but I forgot, and thats also a symptom… and yeah I try to rush as I write simply because this is astrologially not the information age anymore but the age of the water bearer. (Pisces) Why do you think Adam Sandlers was so funny ?
I do try to take all this humoristically too ; I was a child when all this happened and had no way to know. Some people are responsible and I won’t even care about their court proceedings, nor recognize their faces or whatnot in the rapture of death.

This thread is reminding me that I haven’t been to the dentist in probably over 8 years.
Is that bad?
Probably bad.
Never had a cavity or wisdom teeth removed.[/quote]
Yes, that’s bad. I didn’t go for 16 years and ignored a filling that had fallen out for 6 years. I had to get a crown in that tooth, and I’m upset with myself for being so stupid.
But if you have never had a cavity, you are in the very lucky minority.
