All kidding aside, like Leon said, it’s basically a push for the max program, then pull back.
All programs have this to some degree, and to be honest, doesn’t need to sound/be as complicated as it is. Work to the max of your bodies capacity, pull back, go at it again - all while giving it the fuel/building blocks - and it WILL grow.
MOST programs where adequate volume/intensity/progression is used WILL work as long as the individual eats enough.
FOOD is the enabler…NOT just the workout.
STRENGTH progression (for reps) is the enabler…NOT just mixing it up
Ironically, I think that this whole “you gotta mix it up to avoid stagnation” stuff (that they promote in that article) is responsible for many newbies actually stagnating and not getting very far…they seem to forget the whole strength progression part of it - which is the most important part! LOL.
