That is what a black sports reporter said today on ESPN. He claims that the media would have been all over a black quarterback if he did the things that Favre has done.
As many of you know, Limbaugh claimed something similar except the races were reversed. Limbaugh was made out to be a scum of the Earth racist, and was fired. This black guy is not even being talked about. Oddly enough, Limbaugh had more of a point.
What is the deal with this? Why is it fine for black people to criticize white people on national television, but not the other way around?
Political correctness! I feel sorry for you white, middle class males and especially if you happen to be a christian as well. You all have it tough in a world where you all are blamed for all of societies problems. White men and christians are the only two groups that can publicly be made fun of and no one says anything about it.
I hear black comedians all the time talking about the “white boyz”, but let Don Imus make one out of the way remark and their goes his career. My question is, why as a group do white men take such treatment?
I think about this issue every time I see Katt Williams or Chris Rock on Comedy Central going off on “white boys”. If white people display any indignance over this comedic double-standard we’re all shot down because being called a white boy and other examples of clear racism towards whites is “nothing compared to the atrocities that blacks have suffered at the hands of whites”. It’s a classic case of wanting to get even rather than wanting equality.
It seems to me the worst crime and white person, especially a white man, can commit, is to be considered racist. Reverends Al and Jesse have made a pretty good living for themselves keeping white men afraid of appearing racist.
right! and if you talk to a lot of black pople they’ll tell you those guys are a joke. They havent represented “us” in a long time. They represent themselves though. Anytime my black father see one of them on a talk show its “wtf is he gonna say next?”. Hardly ever “good point”
