Yes, this is essentially like a mexican pizza. Basically anything with yummy carbs, cheese meat and sauces of all different kinds are considered by me to be ultimate cheat foods. Weather it be 27 layer burritos, Bulking nachos, meat lovers OD pizza, or anything else with carbs, meats cheese and souces. You really can’t go wrong for gut busting Glycemic coma inducing, bloated to all hell goodness.

Did no one else find the term “bulking nachos” hysterical? Doesn’t that term imply there are “cutting nachos”, or “maintenance nachos”?

i’ve been watching a lot of Man Vs. Food lately…
I’ve always wanted to make the 6 hour commute to Cleveland to try the Melt Challenge:
13 different cheeses, 3 slices of grilled bread and a pile of hand-cut fries & slaw. Over 5lbs of food!!
Did i mention I’m a cheese lover?
It was actually 14 different cheeses. My girl and I went to Colorado a couple of weeks ago and ate at Duffy’s Cherry Cricket our last night there. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. We watch MVF 4 or 5 times a week. It’s awesome. My goal is that everywhere I travel will have been covered by MVF and I’ll eat at one of the featured spots and/or try a challenge.
I was wondering about this. In the episode they say 14 different types, but the Diner’s website states 13. In fact my description of the sandwich is the exact Copy/Paste from the Diner’s site!

Man vs Food is an amazing show. When I’m cutting/dieting, I watch the show and live vicariously through him, and somehow I actually think it helps curb my cravings. I cook up a ton of broccoli with couple chicken breasts and eat those while he’s downing whatever glorious feast he has set out to conquer. Try it out.
Dude! That’s exactly what I do! I have all the eps archived on my computer for ^ that specific purpose!

Maybe they added 1 just for him 'cause, you know, 13 different cheeses just weren’t challenging enough…

LOL
Nice one, I’ll go make some cutting pizza, it’s going to be so satisfying. Meat lovers pizza minus sauce, cheese, dough, meat, and throw in one bottle of water. Delicious!

My favorite cheat meal is oat groats or oatmeal ( I know most do not consider it a cheat meal). On it’s own it really has no flavor but, I love the texture. So, what I do is add all kinds of shit to it. Chocolate, sweet bread, cookies, candy bar pieces, nuts, fruit or frozen berries. It is fucking delicious.

Normally I am not grossed out by the foods but I hate ricotta cheese so that looks nasty to me. To each their own.
Fuckin’ looks like a yeast infection. Worst cheese ever.
no, the worst cheese ever is cottage cheese. that shit shouldn’t even be called cheese. it’s more like lumpy cattle semen.

He’s gained a lot of weight from last season to now, and he wasn’t a small guy to begin with. Wonder if it was strategic to help him tackle challenges or a consequence of doing all the challenges?
I would love to see his blood panel and general health measurements, as well as the size of his stomach. Some of the challenges he has accomplished are simply amazing.

Nah, it’s just one of those foods you have to grow up eating. My great grandma had me eating that since I was wee lil Soulja and I love the stuff to this day. Just add some pepper or peaches and you got some good bulking grub.

I saw a blog of his and he was saying that he doesn’t eat much before the challenges and runs his ass off before and after. So there is a method to his [strike]madness[/strike] fatassness.

It trips me out how easily he knocks out certain challenges but how others that don’t seem as difficult in comparison get him. Like the first season he ate a 90oz steak [or close to it] with a loaded baked potatoe, a salad, bread and something else in like 30 minutes when they gave him an hour, but he couldn’t finish a 12 egg omlette with chili and sourcream. Not saying I could do [or come close] to finishing either of those, but 90oz of steak in one sitting seems way harder than a big ass chili omlette.

I hope you have napkins handy to wipe away your tears while eating your cutting nachos little lady!

i know what you mean. he doesn’t seem to have any consistancy as to how much he can eat. the omlette one i thought he had it since he’s eaten (at least what i consider to be) way more in prior episodes. if i remember correctly he gave up with like half a dozen bites left.
