More trivia. Franco Columbu also had a cameo in Conan the Barbarian, as the blue-painted Pict scout in the opening sequence when Conan’s village is raided.[/quote]

Hell yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. You could kick some major zombie ass with that thing.

Cool trivia as well.

And with the helicopter it would be even better.

I won’t bother searching the thread, but… MG42 or MG3 when you’re on the move and need some fire support…
Gonna need a few replacement barrels, but damn would butchering zombies be fun with those two.

Edit: On the move meaning when you’re out of camp and can’t lug a GAU around with you.

I would take four weapons with me in a massive zombies attack

First a shotgun, I would prefer a pump action for mass atack

Second, a Kalashikov -AK-47- nice magazine capacity, good cal., good damage, accurate

Third, a handgun for indoor use only -LOL-, something like the PT-99, CZ, or the glock…

And fourth, a good melee weapon, a nunchaku: portable , powerful, easy handling (or a Khurki, the ghurka knife…)

Is useful to have such a thread, nobody knows when a zombie attack can happen… and this can give you some very useful ideas.

That thread is full of awesome. I’m pretty sure the Zombie Survival Guide has been brought up here, I think the recommended all-around weapon in that one is the crowbar, or a metal bat, one or the other or both.

I woulda thought one of these, considering your name. [/anime geek]

LOL, I think that one of those would be a good and fun choice, anyway my name got more to do with the translation “autumn rain” -quote wikipedia: refers to a type of rain that falls hard, then gently, in fits and starts- (being a martial artist, that the way i used to fight…), than anime… also its original, dont you think?

(Anyway, I like a lot the CQB, so I already know how to use these guns)

Anyway, theres a Gundam -in the Gundam Z series- called Four murasame…

LOL

Let’s kill some zombies…

Yup. Cute little psycho.

Actually, Murasame is also the name of a destroyer in the Japanese navy… er, I mean, the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (the Japanese get all pissy if you imply they have an army or a navy, them being a “peaceful country” and all.

I assumed, though, that your name referred either to the Gundam suit above, or else to the mythical sword in the Tokugawa-era novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden.

The magical Murasame sword, wielded by the “dog samurai” Inuzuka Shino, emits cold mist when drawn (through thirst for blood), and can control water and summon the rain.

Now that would be a cool thing to tell people that your name means.

Just got this from that Gun Owners website. I think this is the most comprehensive assortment of hardware that will get anyone through the inevitable zombie uprising.

Sure, as I explain before, My name has more to do with the autumn rain… and i think that using a mecha or a navy destroyer for killing zombies would be damn funny, don’t you think?

And, for the sake of the thread, I like a lot this knife… A corvo can deal a LOT of damage…

How did I miss this for so long?

I like the Shotgun Idea for mid to close range, I mean in the initial wave, fuck being quiet, you just need to be able to dispatch several zombies quickly so you DONT get cornered and overrun. Once you survive the initial wave, it’s time to pick a defensable location, and use it as your homebase. You then use stealth to scavenge for useful items when and where you can.

Traps would be simple, blunt objects loaded on swingwires, and set off via a tripwire. If you are being swarmed by hundreds or thousands, It would take some time to set up enough defense, but if you are just looking to take care of a few stray zombies who might wander into your camp, then these traps will work well.

I think the endgame though would be to get an oceanworthy boat and go find an island to live on for a while. The ocean is going to pretty much take care of all your defensive problems. You could use the boat to make scavenging runs if you need supplies.

win.

I think we need to use dietitians on the zombies. Change their food pyramid into something with much more carbs. Long term that would slowdown and weaken the zombie masses as they get fatter.

for what you may find lying around however, an axe handle is made to withstand repeated heavy impact, without the head it’s light enough that you won’t exhaust yourself as quickly swinging it and toting it with you everywhere.
and if you doubt it’s efficacy as a skull damaging device, just ask any member of the PAGAN motorcycle club…

Most annoying ass military in this man’s world.

Neutron Bomb

This, coupled with this: http://www.frankonia.de/images/products/detail/big/1/aaa172x07.jpg

I have both of these weapons at home, can make a headshot up to 300-400 yards, and it’s also great for close combat, with the knife attached or used separately.

Backup would be an axe, hammer, or any garden tool I can get my hands on, really.

EDIT: forgot to attach the image, have to post it seperately.
