Frost, you seem to be a fan of the female characters, so I have to throw out two of my top five books of all time, both co-created and originally drawn by Michael Turner:
Fathom
CC, is this the same character as Raquel Welch played in the movie of the same name back in the 1960’s?..
No… I dont know much about this comic book Fathom, but she’s kinda like an Atlantean or something. She has aquatic based super powers…
Other then that i dunno, she wasnt dark enough for me to read… i was more of a Witchblade and Darkness fan.
CC… care to fill in the rest?

Basically, Aspen Matthews is a woman who doesn’t remember anything about her life before she was ten years old. At one time she was an amazing swimmer who won several gold medals, but she was stripped of them all when she tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Once that happened, she became a bit of a nomad.
The book starts when she’s in her early to mid-twenties (the stuff above is touched on in flashbacks). From there she starts to find out that she’s really a descendant of an underwater race.
I don’t want to say exactly where she comes from or what her whole back-story is; finding all that out is half the fun of reading the early issues in the series.
He overcame immense emotional pain, transformed his body and his own fear into his ultimate weapon, and avenged the death of his parents a hundred times over.
And he achieved all of this, while being an ordinary man.

This new crop of female characters with rediculous bodies and costumes is a little perverted and juvenile to me. More for guys to jerk off to than tell a story about right and wrong. Just go buy a Playboy or something. Wonder Woman is down-right prudish compared to these gals.
Comic book guy with ridiculous body and minimal costume
That is totally gay.
YEAH… well… you know…
Hey, we’re still friends.
Here’s another SuperHo… just for you!
And she MOVES too![/quote]
Yep, somebody’s definately punching-clown to her and her bouncing boobs.

It has to be Wolverine, with Batman second, and Punisher third.
Batman is number 1. I admire that the guy has had to work hard for all of his abilities when he could have just as easily kicked back into a comfortable life as a rich bastard. I’d say I identify with/admire him in a way that many people might with a biblical or mythical character.
Wolverine is probably my second. Hugh Jackman ain’t got shit on me.
