I’m on a super low carb diet (under 50g a day) and looking for some more interesting dinners than a grilled chicken breat and broccoli. Wanna trade recipes ?
Here is one of my favorites.
6-10 oz. KC Strip steak (I’m from Missouri and that’s what it is)
2- med-lg mushrooms sliced (1.8g carbs)
3- lg garlic cloves diced (1.98g carbs)
1- tablespoon EVOO (0 carbs)
Season strip steak to taste, throw on Foreman grill, lid open. Turn to taste.
In a small sauce pan heat EVOO, add garlic and mushrooms, cook until garlic is golden brown.
Once the steak is done pour the mixture over the top.
Serve with veggie of your choice.
Last night I made this and blended cauliflower to a smooth (mashed potato) consistance and had steak and potatoes (kind of).
