Favorite FireFox Extensions

One of the greatest things about Firefox is that you can update and custimize it to your needs. I’m always looking for more cool and useful extensions. So what does T-Nation use? Here’s my top 6 in no particular order.

Adblock
FoxyTunes
SessionSaver
StumbleUpon
BandwidthTester
WhoIS

My fave is the Web Developer Toolbar.

AllInOneGestures
Linkification

Although I don’t use the following personally, a friend of mine loves them:

GreaseMonkey
Platypus

ForecastFox is pretty cool.

Strongly second FoxyTunes. I remember thinking it would not be all that great when I first installed it, but then I realized how handy it was not to have to switch to iTunes while browsing.

I also like all of the different search engines you can include in the search bar: Amazon.com, google, IMDB, etc.

where can you get these extensions?(please excuse my ignorance)

Just click on the menu on the lefthand side for the various categories.

I’m a fan of Tabbed Browsing Prefrences and Dictionary Search.

In theory, BugMeNot would be my favorite: it prevents you from having to log into various newspaper sites that require usernames and passwords. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get it to work for some reason.
