Favorite Clean Meals

I have cut cheat meals out of my current diet plan to see what effect it has on my rate of fat loss.

Trouble is come Friday night (my old cheat meal night) I feel the pain of not going out for a pizza or a burger.

I need some more ideas for clean meals that feel like I am cheating but are actually clean.

My favorite so far is a half roasted chicken w/o skin and oil and vinegar coleslaw.

Anyone else got some good tasty meals that are clean eatin?

make your own pizza or burger using whole grains and lean meats. cmon now

A steak and some sweet potatoes and a green veggie is pretty damn good.

Brown Rice/Egg whites/Garlic/Soy Sauce/Drop of sesame oil/cayenne

Put in bowl and enjoy.

salmon, on top of broc, cauli, zucchini, carrots. Cook it then top that with tomatoe sauce, parm cheese and olive oil. after that have half can of pumpkin mixed with Vanilla Metebolic Drive and some cinnamon and allspice. Oh and a couple of Flameout or other fish oils I take em with every meal LOL.

2 White poatos with no fat cottage cheese over the top and hotsauce.

I like ground beef/turkey in tomato sauce, with mixed veggies and some olive oil.

1-2 scoops protein powder
1/2-1 cup cottage cheese
1-2 Tbsp. Peanut Butter
1-2 packets of splenda (optional)

Mix it together. Tastes amazing!

Grilled steak, sweet potato, green beans with a salad. To me it is so yummy I am convinced it is a cheat meal. Plus it is easy.

I cheat with protein bars or sugary oatmeal.

I have to second this suggestion. My wife and I make a wonderful pizza at home such as the following.

We make our own crust out of whole wheat flour. We use a mix of olive and avocado oil, fresh ground pepper, and garlic. Then top it with the following.

Lean ground beef (any lean protein)
Onions
Garlic
Green and/or red peppers
Black olives
Fat free mozarella
Parmesan

We usually have a salad with it and it is yummy.

you can usually find sea food mixtures for relatively cheap.

i like one containing shrimp, calamari, scallops and octopus that wal mart carries. i usually get a can of tomato paste and mix it with water, add garlic/onion powder, some salt and crushed red pepper. i let the sea food simmer in it while boiling whole grain pasta.

it is delicious, high in protien, low in fat, and although high in carbs, they are good carbs.

you can substitute chicken if you don’t like sea food.

Agreed! That is the absolute best.

buy Berardi’s cookbook and you’ll never have to worry again. I generally end up adding spice to his recipes, but holy crap are they good - like acorn squash stuffed with chicken and sauteed veggies. PHENOMENAL stuff.

For a low carb clean meal I love any kind of meat or fish with some mixed veggies/salad and some coliflour mashers.

Cheese and salami/pepperoni rolls are a nice appetizer too! Anabolic Diet!

These are awesome ideas, Should keep me on the straight and narrow for months! Tommorow night I am going for some salami rollups, grilled salmon and mixed veg and finishing up with a pumpkin-vanilla shake. Thanks so much for the great ideas. Keep em coming if you’ve got more.
