I mix together frozen blueberries, cottage cheese, yogurt and Metabolic Drive, sometimes adding granola or Fiber One cereal for crunch.
I also cook up a big pot of old fashioned oatmeal adding chopped apples or mashed bananas, raisins and cinnamon. I keep it in the fridge and reheat with splash of milk in the microwave and stir in some flax meal and Grow! Whey.
My last meal almost every night is in a mug pour about 1/2 C of chocolate Hood Carbcountdown, add 1-2 Tbsp peanut putter, 1-2 scoops Chocolate Metabolic Drive and stir until it becomes a pudding. Really yummy!
I make a dozen of these muffins at a time and keep them in the fridge. I eat 3 every morning, so there’s 4 days breakfasts pretty quick.
Flex Muffins
Makes 12 muffins/4 servings (3 muffins per serving)
16 oz egg whites
1 whole egg
1 1/2 C oatmeal
1/2 C Splenda
1/2 C lowfat cottage cheese
1/2 C applesauce (natural, no sugar added) or 1 banana
1 scoop protein powder (20g P)
1/2 Tsp baking soda
1/2 Tsp baking powder
2 Tsp vital wheat gluten (optional, but better with)
1 Tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1 Tsp vanilla extract
Mix everything in a blender, pour into a well-sprayed muffin tin and bake at 350 for 25 minutes (or 30 min in silicone pan). Store muffins in refrigerator.
I vary the taste with the applesauce/banana, flavor of protein powder, different spices and extract flavorings (ex. lemon or coconut). I prefer banana with chocolate Metabolic Drive. I will often put 3 chocolate chips in each muffin for a little extra yummyness
They’re dense, tasty (once you get used to them) and portable. I usually toast them for a few minutes in the toaster oven before eating.
27gP, 27/29gC, 4gF per serving
I’m gonna try out those muffins. Thanks!
Very cool recipe, Jilly… gonna try that asap.

When she doesnt kick you out of bed, you know she’s a keeper.
For me, (almost every day) when I am jammed for time, is tuna, with a side of a half container of cottage cheese, and some tomatos slices for fibre. A real timesaving protein fix for me.

when im in a hurry, or just really dont feel like cooking, this is what i do.
1 can diet coke
1 can white albacore tuna
Blend it all together, drink it down, i like to chase it with a big glass of V-8. Its not nearly as bad as it sounds, and it gets the job done quickly as a good snack.

Hahaha coolest thing ever.
Usually I just eat canned tuna or chicken straight up out of the can. Not very tasty but I really don’t mind bland food. I just shovel it in my mouth and wash it down with water. I can usually kill a can of tuna or chicken in under 5 minutes, which is useful in between classes.
One of my favorite quick meals lately is pumpkin pudding.
canned pumpkin
vanilla protein powder
pumpkin pie spice (a couple of teaspoons)- I get it in the bulk section.
add water for desired consistency
you can also add some flax seeds if needed.
It tastes like pumpkin pie without the shell.
peanut butter and honey sandwhichs and lots of milk (heaven) good choice man

Sounds good. How much canned pumpkin and protein powder do you use?
Good news everybody, i just figured out that Diet brisk iced tea and tuna works even better then the diet coke.
Now you can all go rush to the kitchen to try it…I’ll be here waiting to see if anybody tries it, ive thrown down the gauntlet.

Edit: its actually diet lemon iced tea, in case that makes it sound any better for ya.
When I’m in a rush I just have a can of tuna, a handful of nuts and an apple…Does the job as a snack,

but, it’s a great “anytime meal” in my oppinion. Simple, easy and you can also slap in on some bread for a “meatloaf sammy” or put it in a wrap.
Turkey Meatloaf

2.5 lbs extra lean ground turkey (or whatever ground meat you like)
all vegetables diced and sauteed:
1 small onion
1 small red or green pepper (optional)
2 ribs celery (optional)
1/2 cup zucchini (optional)
1/2 cup broccoli stems (optional)
1 Tbsp garlic chopped
Spices Dried:
1 Tbsp dried thyme
1 Tbsp dried basil
1 Tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp kosher salt
4 egg whites
2 cups rolled oats

**You can substitute any ground meat for the turkey in this recipe. Use any or all of the vegetables listed for a great flavorful meatloaf.
