Thanks for all the great advice. I will def implement some of these exercises into my current shoulder routine. What has worked best for you guys as far as rest rest in between sets, number of sets, heavy vs med vs light weight, isolation vs compound.? I have tried various different approaches to attempt to shock my delts into growing but they continue being stubborn. My current shoulder routine looks something like this
4 sets of seated db press( 8-12 reps)
4 sets of wide upright rows(8-12reps)
4 sets of behind the neck seated barbell press smith machine (10 reps) wide grip
4 sets of db side raises (10 reps)
I typically rest about 45sec to 1 min in between sets. I understand that nutrition and rest are crucial for building muscle and I have those two issues under control. Let me know what you guys think any advice is greatly appreciated!!
Once again, look up John Meadows’ stuff lol.
Heavy partials, 20-30 rep sets, short rests, etc.
. Just looked it up that’s some intense shit! Thanks waylanderxx
Thanks for the meadows tip. I’ve been depressed thinking I was born without shoulders they are so small. You have given me hope.

If you do meadows’ stuff to the ‘t’, your delts will improve.

I did a set of Machine Laterals with partner added eccentrics last night and felt a huge amount of isolated eccentric stress on the medial delts for the first time ever! Glad you guys reminded me to try that one. Had been doing Machine Laterals for ages but this little tweak made a huge difference in feel. Going to keep it in for awhile and see.
Just make sure you’re hammering away at overhead presses for overall delt mass and in addition do what Meadows writes for lateral head.
Can’t go wrong this way.
