Spent 5 minutes or so building an elaborate setup to rest the bar on, and after I dropped 185 it fell off. I gave up because I’m lazy. No shoulder pain, but these are hard to do with a false grip.

Tried some triceps pressdowns, but my right shoulder randomly felt numb so I nixed those. Decent day, but the weird shoulder issues have me feeling cautious. It was nice to see that I could do OH presses with the false-grip without hurting my hand, though.

Really happy with this. It’s tough for me to call it a legit PR because I used straps, but oh well. Did this in Oly shoes with no issues. Felt my arch “break” on the first rep at 495, but the 2nd was much better. The oly lifts have definitely helped me to get lower and maintain better leverage on this. I will most likely go back to snatch-DL next week, but I’ll throw conventional in here and there.
