Fatigued and Dizzy After Eating

After I eat carbs (not wheat, not shit carbs, and with fat and protein) I feel fatigued, tired, dizzy, confused and my body feels heavy-especially my legs.

I am a healthy weight etc.

Went to the doctor to get some tests done. I was worried about diabetes (type 1) but its definitely not that. Fasting blood sugar was perfect, random blood sugar after meal was perfect and a1c test came through absolutely perfectly. However, they did spot that I was deficient in iron and vitamin d and as such anemic. I’m on supps for that now and eating whole food that contain goods amounts of readily bio available iron and vitamin d.

Is it normal for anemics to feel this way after meals, or is there something I’m missing (like am I bleeding from my gut or something?)?

Any help is appreciated.

No you are not bleeding from your gut.

Is the feeling independent from the amount of carbs you are consuming in one meal? (i.e. do you feel the same after 50g and 250g of carbs?)

Being anemic could mean that once your body increases the blood flow to your digestive system (after your meal), there is a suboptimal supply for the ‘rest’, which could explain fatigue

This sounds like you’re allergic to something you’re eating.

EDIT:

List what you were eating. Prime suspects include eggs, almonds, nut butters, any form of lactose, oats.
