Weak man, weak. Try drinking a dozen eggs every day…THAT gets comments. Lol.
I got called into the principal’s office in high school cause I ate a raw egg at lunch. Apparently its a crime. What he said to me basically gave me nightmares about eating raw eggs. I thought I was going to like start bleeding from my pores, you know, cause eggs have like that salmonella shit.
Ive routinely had friends freak out upon hearing my eating raw eggs. Raw Eggs have been criminalized into disease carrying vessels that apparently can kill you have 6 different ways

I routinely bring different meats from home to school, such as home-smoked ham. All the good and big football players and all the wrestlers agree with my choices for lunch. However, everyone else pretty much thinks I am crazy while they eat 3 month old pizza and fake fries from the lunch room. They also say my food “smells bad” as if having real food with real smells is bad.

YES! YES!! I’m 20 years old and I go to college yet I cant eat anything other than trail mix in front of my peers for fear of ridicule and protesting that it stinks or is just plain gross.
Items include:
Fish burger
Greek pasta
Tuna Casserole
Curry (it does have a strong odor)
any of the dozens of soups I have brought in front of them-cream of broccoli and spinish, vegi soup (no I’m not a cannibal, its vegetable soup, not Vegita soup)

Bring in any kind of fish, and everyone starts complaining. I just always tell them to leave if they don’t like the smell, but they never decide to. I find that funny.

My boss nuked some fish once in the gym microwave, LOL, the whole place stank so bad and we were blaming this one guy who is notoriously disgusting when it comes to hygiene.
The people who I work with are usually envious of my lunch. You can make a real decent meal in those zip lock steamer bags.

It seems that the whole vegetarian diet for body composition and health movement is one of the most damaging trends to young females today. I work with a large amount of 17-22 year old girls, and more than half of them have some degree of anemia. Not to mention they are either way underweight, or overweight with below average muscle mass. All of them have problems with energy and have various degrees of mood swings, which I know can be a result of their cycles, but shouldn’t be an excuse to let it run rampant.

Almost every day they ask me about diet advice. I used to tell them in depth of what to do but honestly now, I just tell them to follow the government food guide. It’s not even close to optimal, but compared to what they are doing now…

If they seriously just made sure to get ~80g of protein a day, which is absolutely nothing, they would feel so much better. I don’t even care if its 80g of soy nuts and tofu.
I would go as far as to say women in general are “food ignorant”. I had one of the assistants at work make a HUGE issue about the amount of fluid I was drinking as if it would kill me. She was referring to the half gallon of MAG-10 I was drinking throughout the day. You see, because I am trying to build or maintain muscle, this automatically made how I eat “bad” in their minds. She literally asked, “is drinking that much water healthy”…in a tone signifying she thought it wasn’t.

You see, half a gallon of water = bad…if you are trying to build muscle.

Me eating the literal same meal for lunch 99% of the time of 1lb steak+rice+vegetables = bad…because I’m really muscular.

Mind you, these are the same women who literally made a habit of going out once a week for PIE and who bring so many baked goods to work that you would think the break room was the storage room at Dunkin Donuts.

These same women fasted all of last week because they all got fat over the holidays.

But me…the guy who has the same meal everyday is the one who is eating so unhealthy they need to basically have an intervention.

This right here is why I try to avoid even discussing how to eat when in a group of women.

They are now into a routine of missing lunch completely (no solid food at all) but drinking pureed fruit as their meal everyday…BECAUSE OF HOW HEALTHY THAT IS.
And that’s not suprising. Hell, Special K cereals are marketed as healthy food, the main audience for this marketing campaing being women. And that’s juste one example. The amount of disinformation about healthy food, exercising and diets is overwhelming, diets that are aimed at women are the most affected.

Well it’s a pretty dire situation. People just believe what they see in advertising. I personally can’t count on one hand the number of friends/acquaintances that know if their meal is mainly proteins, carbs, fat. Just what is perceived good, bad, tasy, easy etc.

All I can say is just keep doing what you’re doing. Be fit, healthy and strong, and let them just keep on FAILING!

I cleared out a cafe with a tin of sardines a while ago. It was definitely quite amusing.

Fuck I hear you on the ridicule. I cant bring a protien shake into school without some 150 pound kid goin “aww shit, its braun with the fuckin protien” It makes me want to punch them so hard in the face it is crushed in.

And I cant eat in school, so Im so damn limited.

“All that protien is going to damage your liver”

“weight gainer shakes are bad for you”

“Braun you takin that creatine”

“Aww shit, you got some fuckin protien in that jug?”

A girl im friends with is overweight and wanted to lose some weight. I welcomed her to come with me to the gym at our college and she automatically said no gyms are gross and all the people sweat on the machines eww!! I told her they have a bleach solution and paper towels and everyone wipes down the machine after using it…and you can wipe it before you use it… but she still refuses to go. She never ended up doing anything.

The same girl also got into an argument with me when I was watching tv and a biggest loser commercial came up for a nutrition bar that was almost identical to a snickers bar except the snickers bar had about 20 less calories and less sugar. She refused to believe the trainers on biggest loser suck because the people on the show lose weight when theyre commonly over 40% bf and carry 50lbs of water weight. so girls suck… but guys are usually just as bad

I take two shakes with me to school, and drink them right before 2 of my classes start.

I drink them as fast as possible, probably 15 seconds for 16 ounces of liquid.

I can ‘feel’ people looking at me, but I guess I’m big enough for people to stay quiet.

I did the V-Diet, and most people in my family, friends made some kind of comment about how it was bad for me. I was supposed to eat what the food pyramid recommended and not some “crazy fad diet”. I constantly had people telling me it was bad for my heart, too much protein wipes out your liver. on and on. So many people do not know shit about nutrition and they are the most vocal about how you should eat.

The other day I brought a whole pound pork chop to school for lunch. Nothing else, just a pound of meat cause fuck it. Every woman in my class told me my eating habits were awful. They were all eating lean cuisine and healthy choice microwave meals. One of them only eats several oranges for lunch everyday. Fml.

I love hearing how all that protein that I eat and drink will destroy my liver, especially when it comes from my college acquaintances that binge drink 4 nights a week.

You guys are way too delicate about your food :stuck_out_tongue: Harassing people about what they eat is just a form of peer bonding. Here’s a scene from my office:

Tom pulls out a mini yogurt. Jay says “What the hell is that???” Dave turns around and says, “Fuck, you eat that shit???” Tom says “Fuck you, this stuff is great!” John pipes up “Isn’t that chick food?? You’re probably believe all that bullshit about probiotics don’t you?” Tom grumbles and eats his probiotic shooter.

ten minutes later… Dave pulls out an orange. Tom says, “fuck, do you have to peel that shit here?? Go to the cafeteria! FFS! And keep you’re banana peels out of my garbage!” Meanwhile, Jay pulls out a hard boiled egg and simultaneously breaks wind and laughing and Tom is counting out 12 almonds while everyone is too distracted to harass him about his almond count … on and on …

It’s my belief that people are envious of others who do religiously take care of themselves, eating habits, lifting weights, doing their cardio. Instead of supporting other people it seems like Americans have developed some sort of complex where they have to try to tear others down in order to make themselves feel better about themselves.

Look if you don’t want to put in the extra effort to make healthy food choices, hit the gym each and every week, then good for you that is your choice, it’s your life your body. I’m not going to sit there and tell you what a fat bastard you are and how you are mentally weak you are because it is YOUR problem and not mine.

Regarding the trend of young women to have soft midsections, i blame it on the ah-ah-ah-ah-alcohol. and cookies. women seem to love sweets and gettin drunk enough to be easy.

for the younger girls, sweets are hopefully the main culprit

I get criticized every morning for rolling into school with big ass omelets, steak and eggs, jambalaya, shakes with raw eggs, etc by kids with muffins and bagels slugging down tankards of extra cream, extra sugar frappacinos. But its all the skinny fat kids who do it so I just smile and exaggerate my enjoyment of whatever I’m eating.
You know, Cain was a vegetarian…
