I just realized that this is an excellent way to settle the score with your co-worker.
Simply put his name (“Jeff”) as the receipt handler, then put something like, “Fat Girls,” “Ugly Guy,” or “Canadians,” on the printed receipt, and let the customers handle the rest.

There you have it. I’m obese. And given all the social security money they’re stealing from me that I’ll never get back, I have no problem hopping on that government obesity gravy train and milking me some benefits

Common practice in the bar industry to keep track of tabs. “Jersey Shore”, “Bar whores”, “Creepy old dude”, etc its just that that shit gets changed from “Ticket Whores” to Ticket 13453 or something when you cash out. Thats the step that was forgotten.[/quote]
What ever happened to something like “table 15” or something like that? Gotta be a better way to keep your business out of the tabloids.

I meant more in clubs where you might be moving around. I would imagine its just table 12 in a regular restaurant. I was just saying that the idea of tacking on a nickname on a check to make it easier to keep track of is common.

I thought the nickname thing was outdated too. Only POS systems I have ever seen have a blueprint of the restaurant floor on it and you just tap the table/chair and add the ordered items. Pretty had to forget where people are with a system like that.
