It certainly wasnt a tactful move. Sometimes, as a waiter, you really dont give a fuck though. I flipped out on a few customers in my day. Granted, that was over their treatment of me.
Dont like it? Dont eat there. But please spare me the sob story. There are many analogous situations across the board. Someone mentioned discomfort on planes sitting next to fat people. Perfect example.

My money comes from selling fatty deep fried food to people. The waiter is lucky the owner didn’t kick his azz. That’s like a Street Hooker explaining to her Pimp the Money is lite because she is calling her John’s Sad Pathetic Limp Dicks.
Common practice in the bar industry to keep track of tabs. “Jersey Shore”, “Bar whores”, “Creepy old dude”, etc its just that that shit gets changed from “Ticket Whores” to Ticket 13453 or something when you cash out. Thats the step that was forgotten.

I also heard that “Canadians” has been code for Black customers for years. No issue to me as long as my food an drink are good to go, I’m good to my waiter, tip well, and pleasant I want the same from you. Now If his dumb ass let’s it slip and I get pissed that’s his fault. And if I’m the owner his ass would be gone.

Actually, pursuant to Obama adminstration mandate, it is the position of the EEOC that “basic obesity, without any other underlying condition, sufficiently impacts the life activities of bending, walking, digestion, cell growth, etc., to qualify as a disability or perceived disability.”
EEOC v. Resources for Human Development (E.D. LA.2010).
In short, voluntarily fat people are protected under the law and you have to make reasonable accomodations for their fat, lazy, asses.

Those Fat chicks are paying the bills
Sure I agree but why make it a gigantic news thing. They really weren’t damaged in any way. Should have complained at the place got that meal free and a few more and not displayed their fatness all over the tv. If I got a ticket that said ugly old dude or something I’d be like woo free meal its not like it would be breaking any cherished illusion.

Lol - that reminds me of The Simpson’s episode where Homer gains an additional 61 pounds so he can go on disability. He’s at the movies and they won’t sell him a ticket because he won’t fit in the seat. He’s upset and the manager is like “Sir, If you’ll just calm down I’ll be happy to compensate you with a garbage bag full of popcorn!” LMAO…
He should have took it of the ticket but, on the other hand dealing with fat people in any industry that involves food(especially waiting tables) fucking sucks. To me that sounds like the waiter saying fuck it and quitting, otherwise i cant imagine someone being careless enough to leave that on the ticket.

Awesome, even LESS incentive for fat people to do shit.
Guys, you are missing the point. According to BMI, most of us are obese. Can we claim disability then? I have problems doing normal human functions such as walking and bending after leg day, so obviously, I can claim disability.
