Sheiko 37 Week 1 Day 3. (5th week total)

Bench - bench felt nice and strong. I had to hold myself back and leave some in the tank for dem squatz.
85 1x7
90 1x6
100 1x5
105 1x4
115 2x3
125 2x2
115 2x3
105 1x4
100 1x6
90 1x8
85 1x10

Squats
120 1x5
140 2x4
165 2x3
180 5x3 - these were tough.

Facepulls
70lbs 5x10 - added 5lbs

Frenchpress:
30lbs 5x10 - first time doing those. Not bad. basically a skull crusher with a barbell. used my wrist wraps.

Seated goodmorning
70lbs 5x5 - these felt awkward as hell. My lower back is strong, the 70 lbs didn’t feel like much but I need to clean them. I might had to think if a way of setting up in the rack maybe…

The vixen panties are so much win. And x2 on seated GM’s. I hate those bastards. Plus my hamstrings are so tight that I end up tweaking my back instead of making it strong. Maybe you will figure it out and I’ll have to go try them again haha.

wiggles - I plan to watch a few vids and film myself to get an idea on form and such. we shall see.

Joe - I have repped 125 for 12 in the past, as is the case with a lot of women: repping it out and over all volume does not necessarily transfer to a bigger 1 rep max. That’s my main concern with this program. I haven’t been handling the big wheels much and I’m afraid that when the time comes they will be heavy as hell.

More macho than me. Never did like the stately seated GM. Actually, never liked GMs in general. Never felt like they were working what everyone said they were supposed to. But damn, some folks thrive on them.

Are you using 70# or 70# dumbells? “I need to clean ‘them’” kind of threw me off.

70 lbs barbell that I clean from the floor and place on my back before doing the good mornings.

I can handle much heavier (135) if I start in the rack instead of the floor. of course that’s with conventional goodmornings. I saw how low the guys were dropping and I’ll have to rethink it next session. I’ll stick to the same weight to get used to it first.

I have been curious to try seated good mornings for a while now. How do they target things differently than standing good mornings??

They won’t be! Stick with it, and you’ll profit like a boss. My occasional training partner had this same “issue” with the programming, but at his last meet PR’d by 20#'s (402 @ 242) and set state records in bench. All the practice with sub max weights for lots of sets/reps WILL prepare you to take heavy singles for a ride.
