Do you have mental cues for tightening up to bench. I find that if I don’t go through my laundry list of everything being perfect, nothing works.
I saw the Muppet Movie yesterday, I luved it!

^ I love how there’s a serious question under that pic of Gonzo. HAH! You guys are nuts.

Sucks when bench feels loose and awkward but better then the snatch feeling that way ![]()

Lol, Kalle!! Also…your avi is AMAZING!! Please tell me that’s a photoshopped background…
Frenchie, rockstar nail polish, is well, rockstar. Love it!
Patch, I agree. My mental cues are heels down, big belly, tight back.

I was surprised no one came up with that one yet. The photo was taken by a photographer and they touched it up a bit but it is Carmel beach and was a stormy day so it looked pretty much like that. Got some nice coastline near my house! I’ll repost the original photo in my log /end hijack lol
Love the pedi. I did mine recently with red polish and red sparkles over the top. I felt like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.
Kalle - great photo!
Went hiking this weekend in the Megantic Parc - it felt great to go outside and play before the cold weather finally settles in.
Saturday we walked an easy 7km of trails, mostly flat.
Sunday we did the St. Joseph peak - summit of 1000 meters. 7km hike on fairly steep mountain side. It felt great. Only issue is the combination of cold weather and intense exercise woke up the hip flexor issue. I have a feeling I’ll be nursing this for longer than planned.
Tonight’s torture:
Complexes to sweat a little extra before the holidays…
60lbs barbell, 12 sets x 5 reps with little rest time:
military press
squats
straight leg deadlift
cleans
left me soaked and wheezing.
I’ll be posting my hiking pics later this evening.
Long hikes bother my hip flexor as well. My doctor gave me some awesome exercises and stretches that have helped a lot. I might make a demo video at some point since so many people seem to have an issue with it. The hike sounds awesome though!
I would like to live somewhere where my world looked like that. I’m fine hunting/fishing/chopping down trees and cutting them into firewood to make this happen, and whatever else needs doin’.
Gorgeous!
Nice pics! I miss the outdoors myself, winters are no fun here. I hope you warmed that hip flexor up.
Love the photos - very atmospheric. That last one would make a nice Christmas card.
