Had probably a 2500 surplus yesterday due to a ridiculous amount of binge eating and booze - want to mitigate damage and continue progress as much as possible. It was a leaving party for someone and the party continued on for way too long. I haven’t had a night like this in years and nursing a bad hangover right now. I consider it a slipup - reminds me why I avoid alcohol - now to continue moving forwards.
Do I fast today/just try to get enough protein in or eat as normal (which is going to be a massive struggle)?
I know it’s only a couple of days in the grand scheme of things but it would be nice to know how to properly deal with these situations.
4:20pm and i’m currently on 600 cals. (My bulking calories are 3200). No way i’m gonna reach what I would otherwise but i’ll take the advice as best as i can by trying to get a good amount of food in the rest of the day. Consider it a write-off and hope I can get through tomorrows workout okay (although i’m more concerned about not getting the benefits of my epic squat session yesterday).
Dont try to fix it with crash dieting. The jerking all over the place is very hard on your body. You ate more, who gives a shit. Learn from your mistakes and just continue like it never happened. Just like when you are super horny and you fuck a not-so-hot chick. You just take a shower, delete her number, delete her pics, and never say “hi” if u see her anywhere.
I ended up getting a cheesburger and chicken nuggets delivered. Couple pints of milk, no big fast or low calorie day - will end up just under maintainance. Back to gym tomorrow first thing tomorrow morning.
