Today was not a good day, I felt like crap all day. I woke up with cold/flu feeling( not the real thing just that kind of symptoms due to sleep deficit)tried to push through it and hit the 500lbs but that just made it worse.

Alpha: DUUUUDE!! thanks for stopping in! Aside from today squats are feeling great. I know my legs are good for the 600 just gotta get my back conditioned for holding that heavy weight if that makes sense, I’m glad I switched from a 5/3/1 “philosophy” of hitting specific weights to a cube “philosophy” of focusing on a day for reps, going heavy and explosive. On the farmer’s walks thanks dude!

Notes: I’m glad I did not go heavy on Farmers yesterday, I really felt the difference today it wasn’t hell to keep my upper back tight. For the sake of squat integrity, I’m going to move Farmers from wed. to fri. and swap between keg runs and farmers every other week. Also, I’m stoked that 450lbs felt like empty bar! I’m looking forward to next week! Why you may ask? 'Cause I’ll be squatting 600lbs come hell or high water! 1/2 , 1/4, 3/4 or get crushed I’m gonna SQUAT 600lbs! hahaha and of course I’ll vid no matter squat quality.
