Agreed with money amount, even though I would be willing to go more. I am the boss so I can draft anytime just need to know when.

Have to pre rank your players, I believe yahoo fills out your starting roster first if you dont pre-rank players, they are also slow to remove players that are on the IR or PUP, so you might Ben Doucheberger or Santonio Holmes alot higher than you would normally take him because of the suspension.
Live online draft would be great if we can somehow swing it.
i was hoping for a 20$ buy-in. Might be able to do 50 but i am already pretty thrifty with my poor college student income.
And anytime mon-friday works for me and saturday before 2pm(PST) works too.

sunday’s aren’t too great for me. I am free from 430pm (pst) and after on sundays. So that is 730pm east coast time.

I saw this thread and thought there might be people interested. I participate in a NFL pool. Its called “the Perfect Season”… basically the buy in is $100 and you get two pics for that hundi. You pick a team to win each week and if you win you advance. If you pick loses then that pic is out. You can only pick the same team once per pick that you have. Winner of the pool gets 80% of the pot and second place gets the other 20%
Last years first place prize was $4,000… If anyone is interested in this PM me and I can forward you the email with the instructions for joining up. it was a lot of fun last year and I got knocked out in week 12! Only a couple weeks away from winning some money.

Here are the basic rules for the league from the official email:
- $100 player entry fee for two picks.
- Each week, you pick a team to win the game… No point spreads will be used.
- Single game elimination - if your pick for the week loses the game, you are out of the pool for the rest of the season (that pick anyway)
- Can’t pick the same team twice - treat each entry separately
- Picks have to be emailed to me or left on my cell phone voicemail or text message by 9:30 Sunday AM… If we still have people alive during Thanksgiving time when there are a few Saturday games, we’ll handle accordingly.
- Failure to make a pick by the Sunday morning deadline results in you automatically getting the Monday Night Football underdog (as identified by the Las Vegas point spreads) for that week… If by chance, you have already used the MNF underdog team in a previous weeks pick, you will be tagged with a loss and thus eliminated from the pool.
- No Thursday games will be accepted.
- Weekly updates will be emailed either after the last game Sunday night, after the MNF game, or the next day, Tuesday.
- You can buy as many entries as you like.

hey this is along the lines of Fantasy Football… Just thought there might be some interested parties in here for some side action to the FF league. Whatever WC! If you werent a fellow 9ers fan I’d probably have to start e-hating you
I am just starting a new job so I am hoping/praying Sunday won’t be an issue but I can’t be too sure. I think they put the schedule out like 1 week before. 
If Westcoast is the Commish, I’m assuming he should have a paypal acct set up specifically for the FF league. It is free after all right? So everyone transfers to the league pool and West will distribute whatever winnings are going to take place during the season and at the end of the season.
Not sure if you guys are planning on doing weekly high score winners and other things like best record, highest total points etc… We do but we have more money to play with. IMO you should probably just pay top 3. 3rd gets money back. split 1st and second 70/30 with the remaining.
Also you need to decide how many weeks the season runs and how many teams make the playoffs etc… Also I haven’t seen any discussion here about scoring systems. I have seen shit all over the board. My favorite is a balanced system, one that gives good points for yardage and for touchdowns.
Touchdown heavy leages suck because your guy could have a 120 yards on the ground which is dominating and he could wind up with 4 points. Yet another guy punches in 2 vulture TD’s and ends up with 12 points.
If anyone would like, I can post our leagues scoring system. Our owners are good and we have tweaked the system every year and each year it gets better. If we try something and we think it sucks or we find problems, we drop it. For instance, one year a guy had a kicker get hurt pre-game.
Well you don’t carry a backup kicker and so he didn’t start one because the add drop deadline ends Sat at midnight. Well he lost that game by 1 point and missed the playoffs by 1 game. We also figured out that if he had made the playoffs, he would have beaten his opponent every week and won the championship.
Needless to say, it became a big issue and we added a rule for sunday add drops. Well the systems we came up with had huge holes in them and people weren’t happy with it. So this year we dropped it again. Anyways, we have a good scoring system and i’d be happy to share.

I am a football coach, work full time, try to play 20 hrs of live poker per week, and am playing in 4 fantasy football leagues… Veggie.
I have another draft on Aug 29th so maybe I can just do them both at the same time. We are starting at 730 CDT.
