V, It’s senario’s like you described are what’s got my head spinning right now lol. The point you brought up about a RB getting all the yards and then the short yardage back comes in and get’s the TD’s. Maybe that’s the reason that FF is so fun for some folks. The challenge of do I go for the yards guy or the TD guy or something like that. It’s gambling right?
It’s my first time playing so I’m just gonna try to get lucky and try not to suffer from analysis paralisis. Any help you can provide here would be welcomed I’m sure.
I think $20 is a good amount also, we can kick it up next year when we have a more solid foundation and everything. Can we manage the money the PayPal or what method do you think would be best?

I dont think theres enough money on $50 buy in, but a toilet bowl winner would allow some more fun for teams that dont make it to the playoffs and keeps teams interested. The league I have ran for the past 10 years has a rotiserie toilet bowl winner of $200, however,we have $350 entry fee
Champ game should always be the second to last week of the reg season. The scoring season is basic and balanced. I would rather see a passing td be 6pts and 20pts per passing yard however.
It seems to be fine with 1pt per 10 yds rushing.
Scoring options depends on what scoring system you use and what site you use, the last time I used yahoo it didnt offer too much tweaking, this may have changed. I use CBS, which I have found to be my favorite, I have always used the rule of lineup changes 5 min before game time, if it happened where someone was hurt before the game and didnt have a viable backup thats the gms fault and not the rule
The draft date has been set, check the league homepage for the details. Now all we need to figure out is how to manage the $20 buy in, anybody have experience with that before? any good online tools to store the money? I’m not sure if PayPal has such a feature.
I suppose we can all just transfer $20 to your (WC7) paypal account. With your number of posts and their nature I have no problem trusting you to pay the money out, as long as you’re happy to do it.

I will check out what options PayPal has this evening, and would be glad to take care of it if everyone else is in agreement. We should also set how we want the prize money distributed. Right now there are 12 teams with $20 a head, so $240 to be divided up in winnings. We could do $140, $60, $40, for first second and third respectively, or we could always go winner take all, or prizes for first and second only.
Right now I would suggest everyone in the league sign up for a PayPal account, I am still looking into it, but it seems like the most viable option.
Also, I am going to remove the divisions from the league and just make it so the top 4 make the playoffs. Are there any other changes people want do be made?
Lastly, there better be a lot of shit talking and some serious rivalry developments, it’s a requirement of the league.
Are people mad for a cash prize? I think some Biotest product would be good too. I know I live well away so i would be willing to pay for shipping when i win
