had hip replaced last summer and just did a short triathlon last weekend. I am 66 years old and decided not to run anymore to make it last as long as possible so instead of running I use a backpack with 35 lbs in it and walk. even with the added weight it is way less impact. Can’t just walk doesn’t feel like exercising but put the extra weight on and you will quickly see what carrying extra fat on you the strain you are putting on your heart
