I will absolutely take a body over face everytime. A woman with a fit body (in which I mean a lovely fat ass, some wide hips, big tits and some love handles) will give you strong kids. These kids will grow in the womb healthy and strong because the mum is healthy. Obviously, if you have crappy genes, you will let things down.
I will always take a lovely body over a so so face. Faces come and go. A pretty face is not indicative over physical success.
Guys who get lots of women aren’t always the ones with the Brad Pitt faces, it’s the ones with the powerful looking bodies and standard faces.
Once I get past the meet and greet phase (here, physical attraction obviously matters), it’s a girl’s mind that gets me hooked. It’s like I don’t even see what she looks like anymore. I just think about her presence.

To those that say “great face” because you can change someone’s body by working out:
True. BUT. . .a lot of “butterbody” women don’t care to eat properly or work out, and if you gave them a nudge in that direction, they’d accuse you of calling them fat, yell, cry, and go home and devour a gallon of Hagen Daz.
When I meet someone whose intellect, attitude, personality, and face I like but whose body doesn’t do it for me, I don’t think, “I should go after her. Once I convert her to eating oatmeal and deadlifting, she’ll be the perfect woman!” I think, “Too bad she’s a butterbody,” and let it go.
I’m not super-picky about seeking a partner with a gorgeous body. My criterion is basically, “Is she do-able?” Between someone gorgeous (and do-able) and someone do-able but not stunning, I choose the one I like better in terms of intellect and attitude. And if thereafter she starts to pick up some of my working out habits and her body moves in the direction of gorgeousness (hasn’t happened in any of my past relationships, but hypothetically it could), then great!
Intellect and attitude can make an otherwise somewhat-plain woman incredibly sexy, but for me it can never move a woman across the line between “do-able” and “not do-able”.
GreekDawg is right. For most women who do not have an attractive body, I doesn’t matter how hard they work out because they never will. Its all about bone structure, either you have it or you don’t.
and the same applys to men. I know lots of guys who have worked out hard in the gym for years but just do not attract women and its because they may have the meat but they don’t have the frame.

Take for instance today at the gym I saw a gorgeous girl. Beautiful face, even nice top (not really into breastisis though).
But she had the lower half of a twelve year old. Her rear was as flat as a board. No hips. I dont think she can grow that.

I think the most appealing thing to me is a super tight tummy. I would prefer an “average looking girl” that was very in shape.
I’ve always been a sucker for a pretty smile. Not that I’ve ever dated a fat chick mind you… But, within the parameters of what is attractive to me, I have been known to go for the cute face before the bigger breasts, the perfect ass or the six-pack tummy. The only time I have really felt I was dating one girl with all those things was a girl who was 4’11" - and, it turned out, a tad fucked in the head… (it’s always something…).

Face or Body…so hard to decide…either one will do if the personality and brain are present. Looks may fade and accidents can prevent a body from maintaining muscle mass. Initial attraction can be superficial but what is on the inside is what keeps you interested.
