He already said that he only used a 3 point caliper test.
Which means he has no idea what his bodyfat % is. And neither do you. Everyone carries fat differently.
But you are right that someone with a true 7% (determined by a DEXA scan) wont have love handle fat.
True… Im sure that the 3 point calipers are not accurate.( since my fat is on my sides) I only used it to check my progress.( better than nothing)
As for the picture. This is from a 2 months ago. I made way more progress since. I am about 202lbs.Not the best looking pic i know. But it shows my problem area.

sorry bro, that’s not 7%. doubling it would be closer.
Yes I know that not near 7 percent. I “ALREADY” said thats was 2 MONTH OLD PIC. I was more like 13-14 %
I am WAY past this point. I have more definition and vascularity. But I still have that problem area reducing real slow. I’LL TRY TO GET A MORE RECENT PICTURE FOR A BETTER ASSESSMENT.

oh, i apologize for misreading. sorry.
It’s cool. It happens to everyone. BUT this pic those show MY FUSTRATION WITH THE LOVE HANDLES. They have gotten smaller, but they are still noticable!!!
May I point out that you said you are 202 in the pic and you say you are 194 now. That is from 2 months ago correct? Lets just say from a theoretical stand point that you lost only fat, not likely. that would put you at about 10%-12% now, I am saying you are 16%+ in that picture, because you are carrying more weight than in the midsection, low pec has quite a bit.
Now to be helpful. I have the same issue as you, I held my weight on my sides. It has just taken time and commitment. I am down to single digit body fat at 190lbs and they are finally about gone. I don’t hold any noticeable fat any where else but on my lower back/sides. That is what its going to take. I’ll tell you right now you are going to have to drop close to 15lbs+(of fat), possibly more.
I started to cut at about 210 and I am now just under 190. I originally thought like you that I had very little to lose but I think you will be surprised at how much has to come off before they will.
Also from that pic I can see you are carrying weight on your chest and in your arms, so you have quite a bit that can be lost and all of that will go away before your target spots will.
Lastly it is going to be very hard to maintain this. I am at a point that I have to becareful not just eat shit because honestly a week off and I can feel and see the difference. So once you reach your goal its only the start.
Oh and blame your parents, one of them gave those to you genetics are a bitch some times.
You simply arent big enough to have the shape you desire. You dont have narrow hips (the bone structure, not fat or muscle) so you have to make your shoulders and back much wider. Continuing to cut down will not give you the physique you desire. Your hips will always be wide so your only option is to get bigger on top.
I look leaner than you do in the pick you posted, but don’t have that kind of ab definition (at the moment).
I guess it really goes to show that b/f% alone aren’t a great indicator of how you’ll look.
Even though my overall physique is much leaner than that if your photo, I bet I’d have to get down to 10% to get abdominal definition like you have there at 14-16% (whatever that was).
I’d personally put up with some love handles for an easy six-pack. I get veins bulging everywhere, and sunken cheeks before my abs start to show.

Thanks for the Advice. For the last month I have cut down my cals to 2400.( I posted a thread of my current meal plan)And only do a Re-feed day/ Cheat once every 2 weeks. Last week I also started a ECA stack cycle.
As for my parents, I don’t know how to blame yet. I seem to be the only one with this problem. Aint it A BITCH!!!

Funny you Should say that! MY sister make fun of me, on how my Back And Front don’t match. Do you think I should stop cutting and try to put on 5-10lbs( muscle) on my back and shoulder.
Truth be told, Thanks to this site and it’s members, I have learned more about working out than ever in my whole. Soo I have realized that I have a very weak Back. lol

Not only is it wierd, But it’s FUCKING ANNOYING. But the bright side is, When I finally get rid of them ( AND I FUCKING WILL) I am going to look insanely shredded. My goal is to get to 5%. I don’t care how much trail and error I have to go through.
And trust me, You don’t want these love handles lol
You need to stop focusing on BF% because 5% is never going to be maintainable. Plus I don’t think you realize how much dedication it takes just to get that percentage. At this point you need to add size and just keep your body from stacking on the fat.
Look into carb cycling. Using this process I was able to cut weight and still gain strength, hard to say mass because because my weight was dropping. This worked up to a point then it took a cutting diet to drop the rest but you aren’t going to gain mass and reach 5% bf, those are on two different ends of the spectrum.
Honestly to reach 5% you are going to have to drop another 15+ lbs of fat. You will lose muscle going through this process. Which will put you around 170lbs or less. Yes you will look toned but you won’t have the size you want to look good.

Yeah. I would not look at your situation as “I have stubborn love handles at my level of bodyfat”
I would instead look at it as “I have really good abdominal definition at my bodyfat level”
completely different paradigm shift for you I am sure.

drop the aspirin. studies have shown (i know, i know…) the aspirin doesnt increase the thermogenic effects and really only can cause problems - stomach bleeding i think although usually minor
Follow the supplement recommendations in here (Insulinomics, Fenuplex, and the fish oil at least). I used Insulinomics and Fenuplex the last time I dieted at half the Insulinomics dosage CT used, and I saw more results in my love-handle area over the course of the diet than I did on the V-Diet.
Works really well. Insulinomics is pretty expensive, but it’s worth it. Good luck.

Your right it would be almost impossible to MAINTAIN. But All I want to Do is TO BE ABLE TO OBATIN IT. JUST TO KNOW THAT I CAN. It’s more of a self assurance thing really.( I know, I know lol)
