F*&#ing Klokov Deadlift

He also uses a slightly staggered stance. One foot is in front of the other for deadlifts. He’s a beast and it’s awesome.

Did you know that he appeared in the Russian version of dancing with stars. Funny shit.

And ‘Splash’, which is about high board diving.

Bwahahaha!

Favorite quote of the week so far. I really did spill my drink reading that one

The one thing that could actually make it harder…snatching it haha

My favorite is the 205kg Clean and Jerk complex.

I think it was a clean pull, a clean, two front squats, a press, and a jerk.
That’s just insane.

Klokov Complex

Ok, so i found another. 275 kg (600+ lb) snatch grip deads from the knees.

Klokov Dmitry - 275 kg (9.07.2013) - YouTube

this was the 9th (two days ago) so he did the drop set i posted first the day after this trick.

And, just because Klokov gives NO fucks whatsoever, he carried 225 lbs up 330 steps today apparently. For fun.

All those people who claim some lower back rounding will send you to an early grave must be having seizures around now. [/quote]
I showed this video to my spine. My spine manned the fuck up, and turned into titanium.

I love the rough translation someone provided in the comments. Apparently, Klokov says daily training for deadlifts and pulls is essential, as the deadlift is 70 percent of the snatch, and if you pull high and straight then there is nothing else to do really, and only a retard couldn’t catch and finish the lift after a good pull.

Nice. I must be a retard.

I believe I read that the steps were 108 meters to the top, about 350 feet. I’ve done something very similar to that but with only 135 lbs. Although, I carried it up and back down, and that fucked me up for about three weeks, mainly my elbows and back, and I swore I wouldn’t do something so stupid again. I can’t imagine using 225; now I just feel weak. Looks like I need to start getting stupid again and actually get strong.

Lol. Yeah I remember reading that. Spoken like a true russian haha! I think those people that don’t believe a human being can possibly deadlift frequently and get strong should be shown that comment…I am fairly certain they would spontaneously combust, especially considering the fact this kind of daily deadlifting is at the end of his workouts (no wonder his back is so thick).

klokov is pretty much sex on legs

i tried out those oly style deadlifts yesterday for some fun, never felt me spinal erectors working so hard. today my back is sore but i can still move.

could be nonsense but im thinking that not locking out at the top, whilst providing all the benefits to the o-lifts that aragorn pointed out, also reduces the amount of compressive force on the spine as the load is never transferred off of the erectors and onto the spine. either way i dont feel nearly as wrecked as i would after a heavy session of conventional pulls.

the fact that he is posting so many vids has enriched my life no end, and the step climbing craziness is just that…
