The owners of Biotest disagree with you.
How long have you been here?
Read a book titled “The Whole Soy Story” and get back to me.

I’m not arguing that soy is good. I’m arguing that the fact that people buy soy because they are ignorant, not because some evil corporation makes them.
Fine Zeb. When I have the time, I will list every one that I can find on corporations getting in on politics.
I didn’t feel like searching for a thousand of them, but I will do it more in depth. Not like Halliburton is the poster child for what I am saying or anything, of course. But I will find more and put them up.
And out of the thousands of corporations listed on the NYSE do you think you will post dirt on 10% of them? That would be plenty huh? But you won’t be able to find dirt on anywhere near 10% of them because it does not exist. So…why don’t we stick to this: Some corporations are evil and some are not. A more accurate description would be: Most corporations are not evil, only some are. But the first definition is good enough
Once again your use of hyperbole is exemplary! You accuse ALL corporations of attempting to disrupt government yet you have no proof that even a tiny percentage do this.
I’m sincerely trying to point out a major flaw in your thinking.
Let’s take a look at the following for a better example:
All people who lift weights are vain.
All supplement companies sell quality products.
All Irishmen are drunks. (ouch)
All corporations are evil.
Okay, I don’t believe any of the four above do you? In fact, anyone who does would have to be considered as being just a tad naive. True?
I hope you see what I mean. I’m not trying to tell you that some corporations don’t have nasty motives. Some who lift weights are vain too. And one reason that I purchase many supplements from Biotest is because I know they have quality goods! There are some supplement makers who sell crap. Right?

To be fair, it is not only Democrats but Republicans as well. Our own Judd Gregg is on board with this “wonderful” idea. Let’s see, oil companies get taxed (above what they already do), and they are just going to absorb it? You think maybe they will just pass it on to the consumer? Do you think that will lower prices somehow?
I just wanted to re-re-re-bump this particular post again. Dammit when are people gonna learn that you can’t tax an enormous corporation? They always always pass the cost of the tax to the consumer.
Did those “evil” cigarette companies lose a nickel from all those fines and whatnot? No. They increased the price of a pack of cigarettes. DUH!!! Philip Morris is richer than ever, permanently this time… they are making more from a sale of a pack of cigarettes than ever. Do you think that smoke prices will ever drop to pre-lawsuit levels ever again? Wake up. I wish people would quit smoking, because if you have something against these companies killing our citizens through their own inability to consume in moderation, then THAT is the only way to stop them or at least hurt them.
But Philip Morris knew that people wouldn’t suddenly stop smoking. They are addicted… they are dependent. And that is why this is such a perfect parallel to the gas prices and “windfall tax”, because like it or not, we are all dependent on Exxon. They have us.
Funny thing too, I remember how pissed off my smoker friends were when the permanent cigarette price hikes happened, and it was all very public as to why and who was responsible… oh it was those goddamn lawyers and democrats. I suppose that the demosplats are going to piss off even more people and lose even more elections after pulling the gas price increase stunt, because they are going to make damn sure that the whole world knows that it was them who “brought down big oil.” Yeah, okay… just pat yourselves on the back for alienating even more voters than I could have ever imagined, guys. The republicans are so broken-hearted over there, making those acceptance speeches for their new political gains and all…

Soy is put in products without your knowledge.
You just don’t want to ‘get it’.
Either you are intellectually dishonest or you can’t grasp the facts.
