Experiences managing Estradiol with Rez-V while on TRT

Estradiol came back at 52 pg/mL which is slightly above range. I don’t feel any estrogenic symptoms, however I’d like to address the numbers while avoiding any additional pharma. I have prescribed Anastrozole and I don’t want to use it; since I don’t want to be shutdown, estrogen-wise, and experience a whole lot of issues. How well has Rez-V worked for managing estradiol for those on prescribed TRT?

Trying to manage a estrogen lab value without understanding the basics is a ticket to treatment failure. The normal ranges for estrogen were derived from men with a total testosterone <500!

Men convert 0.2-0.3% of testosterone to estrogen. Estrogen is made inside tissues, were it exerts its effects, serum levels isn’t doing anything and is leftovers and is practically meaningless.

Estrogen in target tissues is 50x higher than serum levels.

Our study did not link high estradiol levels with diminished sexual performance. Paradoxically, patients with low estradiol below 42.6 pg/ml had more patients complaining of low libido as defined by ICD-9 of 799.81 in the problem list. Patients with higher estradiol levels above 42.6 pg/ml had less sexual dysfunction problems identified by their providers.

The only recourse is to lose weight, aside from using anastrozole.

My advice, don’t obsess over the lab values in the absence of symptoms.

Thank you for the validation and insight. I’m a symptom driven guy. If something doesn’t feel right, then I explore what may be the cause. I feel great! Just was looking at the numbers and was attempting to plan ahead. I didn’t realize that the estradiol values were standardized based on the total test being below 500. Grants me some peace of mind that my measured value shouldn’t be cause for concern.

Losing weight = losing body fat right?

Appreciate your detailed response and sourcing!

These two statements don’t square up.

I was attempting to illustrate that the numbers from my bloods detailed elevated levels, however I do not feel any symptoms personally.
