Just wondering, do you warm up? Or do you work up to those weights? Or do you just go in there, lift some heavy ass weight and leave?
Im assuming you warm up, because if you didnt, the above work-out would only take 12 minutes.

Yep, I warm up each exercise. So I may squat 45 2 x 5, 135 x 5, 225 x 2 or something like that. Then bench 45 2 x 5, 95 x 5, 135 x 5, 185 x 2, 225 x 1.

Here’s a pic of us in Milan 4-5 years ago. I was still doing triathlon at the time and was a skinny 160 lbs. I lost the video of her squatting, I’ve got to take another one soon. She’s getting strong.

Thanks! I don’t miss the bike, because I was always a really bad cyclist. I do miss swimming though. That was my strong point.

Weighted Dips: 45 x 9, 25 x 10, bodyweight x 11
Dumbell Bench Press: 70 3 x 8

Squat: 340 x 2, 305 x 5, 275 x 6
Power Clean: 175 5 x 3
Leg Press: 360 3 x 12
Standing Calves Raise: 3 x 15

Shitty squat. I was expecting to get 4 or 5 out of the first set (340) without too much struggle. But I could tell during the warm up that it wasn’t going to be a good day. Too little sleep, too much alcohol. Could have been many things. There’s always next week.


Finished up a cut at the end of the year. Here’s the result after 8 weeks.
