I just started TRT but wasn’t proscribed the “proper” ancillaries. So I had to take it upon myself to find evidences within the medical world and take information to my doctor to sway his opinion.
I thought I’d take the time to start a thread because I am sure many other gentlemen have gone through or will go through similar situations.
Most of the things I found were for AI’s and how an AI will help increase testosterone and lower E2. Initially my doctor told me an AI is for women and would harm my bone density and might cause osteoporosis.
Please add all the literature you think would be necessary for individuals like yourself to benefit from.
I dropped these off to my endo this past week because I am still on just test cypionate 1x every 2 weeks (bogus I know). My endo doesn’t want to add an AI or HCG until I have my labs back.
I can personally tell that my estrogen has gone up and I’m not getting any spontaneous erections like I used to.
Which way is the softest but firmest way of telling your dr you insist on an AI and HCG?
I tried the truth and evidence but that doesn’t always work.
