Buying 2 retired kegs for 25. Gonna fill them with water and go at it
The pony keg is 5 gallons, so I’ll fill that the whole way. The 1/2 barrel keg is 15 gallons, so maybe fill it to around 100 for now. I’ll let the water slosh around to be FUNCTIONAL. Gonna do carries, cleans and press, keg to shoulder. Wide stance wings with the pony keg.
Then waiting on an axle and bumpers whenever they’re in stock. I’ll only get pairs of 45/25/10 and some metal 10/5/2.5 pairs. This would prolly be like late April/May. Given the limited weight, I’ll do double overhand on the axle, deadlifts, rows, clean/press, zercher squats/carries.
My plan here is to have equipment my gym wont have. Likely, they’d have already opened and what not. My next step is to eventually get a log, so I dont have to do a 10-15 dollar drop in everytime I want to use one.

One positive I’ve noticed working out at home and having to use mostly dumbbells and bands and a limited amount of plates is that doing higher reps with pauses, and using per-exhaust for some body parts is giving me an incredible, tight pump which was something I was missing. I’m also tending to take shorter rest periods. For the past 4 mos. or so at the gym I’ve been on a lower rep, longer rest routine geared more towards strength but I think when I go back I’m going to do something similar to the home routine.

Also, been trying to track down standard weight plates and it’s virtually impossible. I was lucky enough to finally find some 10 lb plates on Amazon yesterday and got 4 plates for $60 shipped, actually tried to buy 6 but by the time I went to pay there were only 2 pair left. Then today on Ebay I had to pay $75 for one used pair of 10’s and then another $80 for a pair of used 25’s. Crazy. I’ve now spent close to $600 anticipating the gym will be closed longer than the April 6th date they originally estimated.

Don’t depend on Amazon. I ordered some 45’s on 3/15 to be delivered 3/19. They then changed the delivery date to 3/24 by 8pm. Then at about noon on 3/24 they cancelled the entire order saying they didn’t have them. I had a chance to purchase some elsewhere but passed it up because I thought my Amazon order was coming.

Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least, that’s why I also picked up the Ebay plates at exorbitant prices :^ /
Rogue, Rep and Titan all have restocks coming up. Titans plates are free shipping, and I believe 3-5 days. I’m either getting Rogue Echo or Titan Bumpers. Filling my kegs tomorrow.
ALso got a buffer tire for free from a local tire shop.

Monday I discovered the misery of long-distance lunging.
Managed 1/2 mile and then quit. I give huge props to whoever makes it to a full 1 mile (1.6km)

How did/do you like the Titan economy? Ordered myself and was curious as to what increments you got/if they smell?
