Everyone should have to post their picture

I think it is a good idea. There could actually be a couple of pictures in you profile.

Well, I’ve thrown pics up of me lifting (well okay, the pic doesn’t actually show movement but the whole Alberta T-Cell can verify that I picked the cylinders up) and of me before and after cutting. Plus pics of me getting strangled and punched. . .

Anyway, I certainly don’t think pics should be manditory that’s absurd. Second, I do have a slight issue with the whole “This way we know if you know what you’re talking about” line of reasoning. You’re assuming that if someone doesn’t look a certain way they don’t know anything about getting there. . .

For years I didn’t have any incentive to try and get substantially larger or stronger, in all honesty I lifted for health more than anything. But if you think I don’t know anything about helping people get bigger ask my brother how much his weight has changed in the last year. . . or quite a number of my clients for that matter.

I’ve never been hugely fat, the before pic of me I think was about the worst I’ve been so obviously I couldn’t help a morbidly obese person lose weight right? Well, two of my clients have lost over 80 lbs each in the last year while getting stronger and more muscular.

All I’m saying is that just because someone hasn’t suceeded in doing what you want to do don’t assume that they don’t know anything about it. Judge people based on their knowledge and whether they can apply it to each individual situation, not whether they have applied it to themselves in the manner you want.

Rummy:

ONLY IF WE DO 'EM IN THE SQUAT RACK. :-))

I think the point has been effectively missed. Miscommunicated or misunderstood. You don’t have to look like Thunder for me to take advice from you, but if you look like BBPL’s “before” picture, I sure as hell would like to know that to take into consideration while reading your pontifications on mass gaining.

Bigger and better condition does not always mean more knowledgeable, that’s for damn sure, but small and untrained is a pretty good indicator of where you stand. This thread isn’t about making fun of people for being smaller, nor about writing people off. It’s just about getting to know the people better who are giving advice, telling you that you’re wrong, etc.

Some people’s ideas of “big”, “cut”, and “strong” are very different. It’d be nice to know what each person’s definition of those terms are, and putting together how they look with how they speak about other things would yield that perspective.

Dude

I scored a set of PINK weight gloves last night for 3 bucks

No joke

Dude

i don’t give a shit what anyone looks like. I care about what comes out of their mouths. If you need to see a picture of someone before you’ll listen to them, you’re a moron.

Can’t hear you, CGB, got my fingers in my ears, la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la - post a pic if you want me to listen to you…

Actually, since I’m broke until today, Michelle paid for them.

I think you’d be a moron to blindly take whatever advice you find on an internet forum. The more you know someone, the more you can assess the validity of what they’re saying.

Sturat is a good example of that. Not only do we have what he says on this board, but we have some visual evidence of what he’s done (training, lifting, etc.) along with corroboration from others here who have met him.

The point is, there’s a lot of bullshit posted on internet message boards and it’d be funny to see who’s living the life and who’s just talking about it.

Rummy: do you have a matching Capezio workout outfit? You metrosexual bastard, you. ;-))

Jared: “[quote it’d be funny to see who’s living the life and who’s just talking about it.” [/quote]

Exactly.

I’ve posted more than a fair share of photos.

And who says you have to pose in your underwear? Why not some more training pics?

I plan on posting some updated pics in the near future. Some good ones of me lifting and maybe a pose or two to show my progress in the past couple of months.

I’m getting bigger and stronger, and it doesn’t matter that I don’t have those beautiful shredded abs that I once had! It’s all good when you lift big weights.

Nate - would you mind a few shots of you in a school girl outfit?

Are you happy now, Goldberg?

Jared,

I’ll send those pics through PM. I need to get a new outfit. All this weight I’m putting on has made me outgrow my old school girl outfit. But at least my ass is now bigger and better than J-lo’s! Who cares if I don’t have Monica Brant’s abs, I’ve got more ass than the both of them!

Oh yeah, I don’t look like much (being as short and small as I am), but at least you can see what can be accomplished with plenty of hardwork, dedication, discipline and desire. And even though I’ll never have a “godly” physique, I will have accomplished much more than I otherwise would have or more than many others who don’t work as hard or who were “blessed” with great genetics and don’t use it to their advantage.

Steve, we were happy with this one.

I think his boxer briefs have been Photoshopped.

Funny stuff Mike. There were some photos of me on here a while back. One with me doing a farmers walk with a Bananna Republic Bag and another of me doing some heavy shoulder work on a Swiss Ball (I knew those would come back to haunt me). The only difference is I’ve added almost 15 pounds and shaved my head since then, but it is me. I lift with Malcolmzilla a few days a week and see Z-Man a few times a month and have lifted with b33fcake, 454SS, Eva and Cake Jones or whatever name he’s going by today.

I never talk about any weights I’m lifting, so it’s not like I need to live up to anything, nor have I ever slagged anyone’s physique. That’s for the immature ones here. Anyway, Malcolmzilla’s got some shots of me doing some clean pulls, unless he’s deleted them. Where are ya big guy?

Done done it.

CGB, I have those thong shots you and I took if you’d like me to post them. They show your “gluts” off well.
