Everyone Look! T-Nation Seminar?

Count me in. I will be about an hour outside DC. As long as its a weekend I can make it.

Why can’t you all just come to Iceland? Would make things alot easier for me and I could show you the country in return.

But I’d love to attend but I somewhat doubt it so a DVD is a must.

An I thought we’d be able to keep the riff raff out.

Damn.

Will Cheeta be there? If she was, I think most of the people who plan on going would gladly relocate it to Iceland. I would hahaha

Plus, I really do want to dive between two continental plates at the Silfra crack in Thingvellir.

Damn - beat me to that one mate.

But when you said dive between two continental plates I thought you were still talking about cheeta!

I’d def be interested in going… if I could get to the US… and had somewhere to stay… hmm

Um…there’s a plane and then a hotel. :stuck_out_tongue:

No updates as of now.

I’ve got a lot going on right at the moment, but I’ll start crunching some numbers in the next week or so along with contacting a few more presenters[/quote]

Stick another UK bloke in the attending column (depending on when it is, I’ll manage to afford it somehow, however expensive it is).

I know I may regret saying this, but is there anything anyone else can do to help? Contact possible presenters, venues, crunch numbers, etc.

Oh, and if you can get Jamie Eason, Olesya Novik and / or Jen Heath to attend as a guest speakers, I’m sure the attendance would go through the roof (or other figure athletes, they’re just the first ones to pop into my head).

planes and hotels can cost alot though, I’m still in an apprenticeship and therefore earn peanuts at the moment, I’d try though

That is the best thing I have heard all day, and I have only been awake for ten minutes.

yeah, Jamie Eason crossed my mind, lol but that would just increase the overall expense.

Here’s what I’m thinking. Not sure how this would go over.

It’s going to cost a good chunk of change to actually pay the presenters ahead of time to commit them.

The way I did it with the car show was I knew the price up front what the fair grounds costed along with insurance. For example $3000.
I knew I had 100 people interested so I charged $30/person. This was before I booked the place though because I couldn’t up front the $3000.

That’s the only way this would work. So, I do realize people would think it’s risky to pay money for something that isn’t set in stone yet. If that’s a problem for people, I understand, but it’s the only way it would work.

As a long time poster here I would hope people would trust me. I’ve met one person on here already and I’m sure she’d be happy to attest for my character. I’d also be willing to give each person my phone number and home address to make you feel more comfortable.

Obviously, if I don’t get enough money for the event as promised, then I would refund your money.

Thoughts? Are you willing to send along money to help get this thing off the ground?

It’s going to be about $8-10k to have 3 presenters for 2 days.
Aiming for about 100 people would put the cost at about $100/person, assuming I can get 100 people to commit without having exact details. This money would be refundable in the event that the date changes drastically (aiming for April right now).

hope that makes sense, I’m rushing so I can get to my workout

I don’t have a problem with sending you the money in advance.

Me either, I’ll put the money up front if it’ll make things easier

I can do a deposit.

In April?! That’s my frickin birthday. Kick ass.

I don’t trust any man who wears a hat, no shirt, and has water guns in his hands. But this will bring T-Nation together, so I’m willing to put in. Plus, I need to meet Vader in person and I have some business to settle with Bauer97(You’re not so big).

Count me in. I’m guaranteed to pay.

Water guns? I thought those were “Crossing Guard G.I. Joes!” This does look like a really good time and I’d really like to shake some of your hands, whilst dodging Wolbarret’s “Hip Breaking Bat.” Only catch is that I’m military and will prob’ly be in the sandbox. That being said, count me in 'til I know for sure.

Hell the likelihood of me being able to attend is minimal, yet I would put down a deposit so in case the thing lines up, I’m in.

JFit - (hey that sounds kinda hip-hoppish)

One suggestion to ease peoples minds about the risk if they’re worried is to set up an escrow account for the deposits, similar to what landlords or online auction sites do. Your local bank(s) may have other similar alternatives.

I’m certainly interested in attending. Hell, I might just book a week with a DC customer of mine

Do you except paypal.
