Ever Seen a Famous Person?

Here on the “south shore” of Massachusetts, you used to see the guys from Aerosmith pretty regularly.

Not so much anymore.

Met Alice Cooper at Spookyworld.

Met tons of musicians that most of you guys wouldn’t know, but those who did might think it was cool. Am friends with others of the same.

Met Ralph Baer (basically the inventor of video games). Talked to him for a while… very, very nice guy and loves to talk technical. I ended up being the one who had to exit that conversation.

There are probably a few more if I sit and think. But I’m not gonna.

Is Alice a creepy guy?

I met Branch Warren last April when he did the guest posing at the BB show in my town. My husband and I ended up getting to hang out with him a bit at a bar in town afterwards.

Man, he might be kinda short, but he’s as wide as a truck. Does a good posing routine too.

Naw, he was really fucking cool.

FYI, he does a radio show on Saturday nights, “Nights with Alice Cooper”… plays some really good tunes, and a lot of obscure rock, too. A definite must-listen if you’re a fan of his.

Can I have your autograph?

Tonight a black Yukon with license plates bearing the Presidential seal pulled out in front of me somewhere near Adam’s Morgan. I have lived in DC for 4 years and I have never seen these plates before.

The truck was all black and armored. The front was clearly built for ramming shit. I have never even seen a vehicle like this on TV or in the movies or anywhere else.

Also, DC is called “Hollywood for ugly people.” There are “famous” d-bags on every corner.

Was on a plane with Shawn (Sean?) Wayans when I was 15 going from Sacramento to L.A. Big guy. Pretty built but was tall and had wide shoulders.

I swear his body guard was really Berry White.

Edit: And my brother actually had a conversation with Arnie when he came to his high school a few years back. Said he was way shorter than what you’d think, had this old pair of worn boots on, and had a death grip handshake. My brother told him about how he owned Arnold’s “Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding,” to which Arnold replied “YEAHThatIsAGoodBookToHelpWithYourTrainingAndYourRoutine.” That lasted about a minute before my brother got shoved aside by the press people. Like actually shoulder checked to the side.

Ronnie and Gus Carter at my gym.

Arnold when I was like 8. He spoke at a presidential fitness thingamajig at our elementary school.

Mark Henry aka Sexual Chocolate in the Washington-Dulles airport.

And a few other people that I, you probably don’t, consider famous.
