I kept hearing Lou Ferrigno was a dick, but I ended up going to qualify at the same range he was at (hes actually a reserve laso). We were next to each other and he looked over and started asking questions about the gun i was shooting and ended up talking to him for about 10 minutes in between quals. Pretty nice guy, i didnt get time to really ask him any questions though as he was really interested in what I was shooting. Heres apretty funny link…

wow Ronnie Coleman and Lou Ferrigno should be the 09 A-Team

btw is Lou Ferrigno partially deaf or something?

I used to work at a porn store where Trevor Pryce and Kavika Pittman(NFL d-linemen) came in and bought some dvds. They were dressed like bikers and claimed not to be football players but their credit cards said otherwise. They seemed to want to keep things discreet, so we let it go about their names and the truth of the situation.

Tom Cruise met my dad. My dad was bow hunting in San Miguel county not too far from Telluride and was hiding just off a trail looking at an elk when Tom and Katie and his kids and some other people came walking down the mountain. Tom thought he scared away the elk(which he did, but it was too far for a bow and across a gap so there was no getting to it) and apologized profusely and talked a little bit about the outdoors and then went on his way. My dad said he seemed nice like any other hiker you’d meet in the mountains.

A couple weeks ago I met Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma after a show. They were sharing equipment with the opening band and driving from town to town in a ford van, super econo. They seemed pretty true to what they’ve been talking about for 25+ years. Roger has to be pretty old but up close looked like he was in his mid-thirties. My wife got them to autograph her passport on the same page so people can see she’s been to NYHCistan.

Yes Ferrigno is mostly deaf and totally and utterly Def.

You go to enough Dodger games and you’re bound to run into famous people.
Jason Bateman was 6 rows down from me and my GF back in July, and all I could think was “What the hell is Bateman doing sitting up here in Loge?” He sat there and took pictures with every person that approached him though, so that was cool

Other notables are Keifer Sutherland, all the ESPN Gameday guys from 2002 when the super bowl was in San Diego, Jim Kelly was a good dude, Marcus Allen as well.

Met Maynard Keenan at a wine signing a while back too, can’t really count that though since it wasn’t a random thing.

I did escort/security work for the Carolina Hurricanes when they came to our building after winning the cup a few years ago. Hell, they were all twice my size and I was the security?

Arnold (he signed a painting I did made of him).

A female celeb from the 80s… whom I slept with several times. Sorry I’m not comfortable dropping her name.

Why not? It was Nell Carter, wasn’t it?

I’m thinking Mrs. Garrett.

Trained with quite a few BJJ and MMA famous people. Also used to train BJJ with Guy Richie (Movie Director and Madona’s ex.)

Been for beers with a few top UK comedians due to friends who work for Radio 4.

Met Eddie Bravo, Goldberg and Joe Rogan at a Joe Rogan Comedy gig (Dean Lister was also there so pissed he couldn’t stand up.)

Loads of British actors and rock/pop stars. Living in London and Manchester you seriously bump into ‘famous’ people all the time.

As for really globally famous people, Arnie, Oasis, David Prowse (Darth Vader,) Kim and Marti Wilde (family friends).

Quite a few more but it’s late and my brain is fried.

That is so cool! I like Tom Cruise. He seems like pretty positive person in general. BTW, I take it you’re a Steely Dan fan? I saw the in the summer of 07’. Just an awesome show!

I’ll start from the top and work down…kinda.

Queen Elizabeth (stood about two feet from her)
George Bush Sr. (about five metres away)
Margret Thatcher (about two feet away)
Nicolae Ceauşescu (about two feet away)
Charlton Heston (had to fix a toilet door for him)
Dan Quaille
Prince Andrew and Fergie (back when they were married)
The President of Italy.
The Prime minister of Tonga
Wynton Marsalis (well…saw him in concert)

Some known more to us Aussies.

Prime ministers:
Bob Hawke
Paul Keating
Gough Whitlam
Malcom Fraser (found myself standing next to him in a bakery)

Then there’s…
Bill Hayden
Greg Chappel (international cricketer)
Nobby Clarke (one time head of the National bank…did a renovation on his house)
Lou Richards
Darren Casey
Micheal Barker (drummer with the John Butler Trio, I studied with him)
Steve Magnussen (know top jazz guitarist)
Ken Edie (one of Australias top drummers and my brother in law)
James Morrison
Lisa Curry-Kenny (Olympic swimmer)
Grant Curry (Ironman competitor)
Tracey Bartam (local radio personality and personal friend of mine)

Damn, I could keep going.

Better give an explaination too.
I was in the Australian Army as a bandsman in Canberra. This account for all the political figures. When these people come to a country on official business I was often part of the ceremonial guard.
Being a musician, I was often involved in all kinds of events.
I held a job for many years that had me driving past a TV station twice a day, five days a week.
Now, I’m a carpenter, I specialise in top end architectural work.

Malcom Fraser (ex-Aussie Prime minister) was an odd one, I really did just end up in a bakery right next to him.

LOL!

Met Ty Law a couple months ago right before he signed with the Jets. He would come in and use the treadmill at our studio because he didn’t want to run in public.
