I think it depends on whether they’re dwarves or midgets. Like someone said on g+, there are several different types, genetically speaking.
EDIT: Midget and dwarf are used interchangeably. The difference is in proportional dwarves (just being small all over) as opposed to dispropotional dwarves which achondroplasia (one’s trunk is of average size, one’s limbs being proportionately shorter, one’s head larger, and a prominent forehead) is a type of.
